Overall a great antenna for those looking to get rid of cable, build quality is good and assembly instructions are easy to understand. Great value especially for the price I got it for, it was on sale and I got $50 off retail. Getting between 36-41 channels depending on the TV brand/tuner, with a pre-amp and distribution amplifier (have 4 TV’s) that number goes up to 50 channels. My only concern is it’s durability since I have it mounted inside the attic, it does get really toasty during the Summer down here so not sure how the plastic body will fare in 140-150 degree attic temps hence minus 1 star.

OMG I can't believe it works so well. This is the 4th antenna we tried, the other 3 didn't even give us one channel and with this one we get 30 or more, and it works great. We live in the country and we have a lot of trees around us but it still gives us a clear picture. Well worth the money.

Works best when mounted to the roof. Great reception and picture. This is my 3rd one of this model (on 3 different homes) I've installed, so I am very happy with it.

Product was better than expected Nd easy to install. I tried an indoor antenna but the signal strength was week. The clear stream 4 max boosted the signal strength and I am able to pick up signals that are 30 miles away. The picture is crystal clear.

Was not to keen on buying this item but my son has one and he loves it. I did pick up 69 channels that I couldn't get otherwise . I just have it in the window and receive these channels. Nice and clear also, just follow the manufactures directions and enjoy.

Unbelievable reception with this antenna. Better reception than I had with cable. Picture has not blurred or tiled a single time in the month I’ve had it. Wish I would have gotten rid of cable years ago. 5 stars!!

Hi Timm, and congratulations on cutting that cable cord! Thank you for your purchase and great review of our ClearStream 4MAX antenna. We hope you are enjoying your FREE over-the-air programming. We are so glad our antenna was able to help you cut that cable bill. If you remember to re-scan for channels once a month there is a chance even more could be added in your area. We greatly appreciate your business!

I was hoping to mount outside, but getting cable out of the house turned out to be more of a chore than I was up for. Instead, I put it in the laundry room and bought a splitter and amplifier to connect it in the coax cabinet (which most people use for cable tv, I don't and so the hookups were available for connection to the antenna). I live about 60 miles south of Sacramento and pickup 30+ channels from there very clearly (60 miles east of San Francisco, but a hill blocks the signal to SF towers), much more clearly than the first generation antennae I bought when the digital TV revolution happened. I was able to watch Tottenham beat Man City for free on Saturday. Having never been a cable tv customer I don't know how much I'm saving each year by having an HDTV antenna and Roku player.

This is an indoor/outdoor antenna and I wasn't sure what to expect when I started putting it together. The instructions were not very clear for indoor usage, and I didn't want to ins try all it on my roof. I called the toll free number in Ft Myers and left a message. The next day (a Saturday!) I got a all back and the customer service person did not hurry the call and addressed all my concerns! Since my Tv's are all on the north side of the house and the antenna needs to be pointed south I had a bit of a dilemma in setting it up. It seems to be working well considering my setup. I plan to set it up on a pole outside that will be in the ground and anchored to the side of the house so that the antenna will telescope above the roof. I should get 70 channels then, not just the 25 I get now.

I have tried several OTA antenna brands including Antennas Direct 8-Element Bowtie TV Antenna. This one gave me the most channel reception (40+), clear HD picture and surround sound as advertised. Buying a second for my parent.

Majority of transmission towers around 35 miles due east of me. Will also pick up some to the south with this unit facing east. Total channels 62. Very easy to assembke and install. Like the coaxial cover boot.
Split up between 4 tvs.

This is a much better unit than the one channel receiver I purchased before.
The second channel increases the signal strength & allows me to get clearer channels, & a few new ones
