Excellent Antenna - pay attention to areas

Standing in the store I looked up the areas within range of this antenna. The cottage I was installing it in didn't really come up, but I figured... close enough.
Well, close enough isn't. Pay attention to the maps. The antenna worked perfectly. It picked up the two stations that were in range very clearly. Sadly, those stations were of no interest to my mother-in-law, who really only wanted the local weather instead of Canadian forecasts from 60 miles away.

I mounted the antenna in the attic space in my garage bc I didn't want it outside possibly getting blown around in the wind. Not sure if that would affected picture quality or not. But the picture is great and I am about 35 miles from most of the antennas downtown. I also have the signal split with a standard coaxial splitter and have seen no signal loss. I would highly recommend this antenna. I thought about trying the lesser expensive model which might have been all I needed but bought this one in case I move farther away in the future.

This is the best antenna I've had. Does a fantastic job of picking up channels in my area. I have it installed outside on my roof. Easy set up and mounting. I highly recommend this for anyone looking to take advantage of over the air television. Price a little high but product delivers.

We cut the cable

We disconnected cable service and connected this antenna on antenna tower next to our house. We live 40 miles from major city where stations broadcast and positioned it toward those stations (product information states will reach up to 70 miles). We have fewer channels but all major networks (and a few others) in HD and even with some windy recent weather have very good reception. This antenna paid for itself within two months of cable bills.

I was replacing a 91XG directional antenna. I live in a low lying are surrounded by trees. The directional antenna, although a decent antenna, was simply losing signal from some stations 42 miles away. So I looked into various replacements and decided on the Clearstream 4Max. It was easy to install. I added the amplifier I was using with the 91XG. Those stations that were losing signal are weak but now more consistent. I am receiving some signals from 60 miles away that are also consistent. Other signals come and go depending upon conditions. In the three weeks that I have had this antenna, I have been more than pleased. Through a distribution amplified system it serves 4 TVs.

ClearStream 4MAX - a great option to cut the cord

I cut the cord and with this antenna stations 50 to 60 miles away are now "free." The reception varies for some of the farthest stations when there is heavy cloud cover, but that's a rarity in sunny California. In just two month and a week I've recovered the cost of this device that was a cinch to install. I skipped a few steps on installation by attaching it to the remnant of the satellite dish mount after removing the dish. Added a couple of online services (Frndly and CBS All Access) plus a Roku and have more things to watch than we need.

Hello Bobby! Thank you for your purchase and great review of our ClearStream 4MAX antenna. We are happy to hear that your installation was easy and successful, and you are satisfied with the results. Remember to re-scan for channels once a month as broadcasters do add new ones periodically. We appreciate your business.

Went from getting no antenna reception to over 100 channels on multiple TVs in my home. There is an application that you download which tells you in which direct to place the antenna for the best reception. The picture is clear. I looked for alternatives such as Hulu with live TV access but it’s expensive and you don’t get all live TV channels and I definitely did not want to buy into cable when we are already subscribers to other streaming services. I like to watch live TV and my mother can’t navigate through anything else. This has really worked for us and I highly recommend it.

Channels Are Crystal Clear

We were able to connect this antenna using the wires from our satellite dish. This enabled the antenna to be connected to four televisions in our home. The stations are crystal clear. After scanning for channels we were able to get 40+ stations including ION and a few movie stations that show classics. Our local stations have multiple channels with additional entertainment options. We are very happy we purchased this antenna.

We were in a marginal reception area and thought we might not be able to get decent over the air reception. We tried a couple of less expensive antennas and were striking out until we tried the ClearStream 4MAX. As expected, it took a bit of tinkering with the aiming of the antenna but once it was dialed in, we received all of the local networks stations loud and clear.
It worked in our attic until we installed solar panels, which blocked the signals, so we moved it to our roof (attached to our chimney) were back in action.
Highly recommended.

We installed the antenna in our attic and have been very pleased with the reception it has provided. Installation was easy and assembly took virtually no time at all. Currently have three TVs running off the antenna and all work flawlessly. Please note, according to an antenna finder app we used during installation we are approximately 30 miles from the any of the towers and we live on a slightly elevated property in the country. Of all the towers we receive they are all within about 30 degrees of each other.
Highly recommend for our application.

Fantastic antenna for VHF and UHF local channels

I got rid of my cable because it was just getting to be too expensive and wanted the local channels so I could watch my football games. I first bought a few square type antennas that stick on the walls, both plug in and not plug in, to see if those would work but they didn't. I did my homework and bought this antenna without needing a plug. It took about 15 minutes to put together and I put it in a spot in my attic and it works great for both UHF and VHF. Square antennas did not pick up VHF.
I'm very happy with my purchase.

I live 65 miles from the broadcast towers according to the various web sites. I had bought an indoor antenna and was disappointed with my results. I think I got something like 10 channels, only 1 of them being worth watching.
I bought this antenna, installed it outdoors of course, and I picked up 120 channels! all the big hitters I was looking for. I couldn't be happier with this antenna. you get what you pay for sometimes. this antenna was WAY more money, but sometimes you just have to do it right.

Easy to assemble and install. Picks up all air channels in the Miami area, even the weak channels. Installed at roof height of a one floor house achieves great reception; no need to raise it 20 or 30 feet. No need to be super accurate with the antenna direction to the broadcast towers. Extremely happy with the purchase.

We dumped our expensive cable provider expecting to watch the basic 6 local channels and stream. Instead we now have about 35 to 40 local channels with a clear, crisp picture that we didn't get with the expensive cable. We're watching HD quality without paying for it. The antenna is in the attic, with 3 televisions hooked up to it, the living room and 2 bedrooms. The picture is just as crisp with each bedroom TV. I wish we'd dumped our cable provider sooner! This was a great value for us!

Just a fantastic antenna - powerful to catch every OTA signal for a long range. I have it behind my TV stand, not very close to a window and it catches 39 local channels (I'm in a Twin Cities suburb)

This antenna is awesome! We tried many other antennas in our quest to get rid of high cable bills. This is the only one that picked up a 'local' station that was a must have for us. A knowledgeable Best Buy employee recommended this antenna. He said if there is any antenna that would get that station, this one would be it. He was right! The picture quality of the 25+ channels it picks up is awesome and we have experienced no issues once we identified the best place for this antenna. If you are looking to cut the cord, this will help you do it!

We bought 3 of the single version of this antenna 5 years ago and this year we decided to buy this for our living room Tv. We used the app to find the best location to get the most channels. We get over 30 channels and also use a Roku to stream tv for more choices. These antennas pay for themselves in one to two months in what you save on Cable. And if bad weather pixelates the tv...it isn’t costing me any money the way cable did. Ours are inside but could be mounted outside.
