Having only three channels on my TV That worked my last attempt resolve this problem before I got the dish was this antenna. I was pleasantly surprised when I got all the channels I have been looking for especially at a distance of over 50 miles from the tower. Yes I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a long-distance antenna.

Using at a summer cottage which is located in the middle of no where, and we get more channels than we expected. We have had good reception (but we haven't had bad weather yet.). The assembly was easy, and it used our existing "Dish" cables. Definitely a better value than the big Dish companies.

I can't believe how well this works. I happen to live in a location that receives signals well. I get ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, plus more than a dozen other channels in full digital HD. I added a Channel Master amplified splitter (for 40 dollars) to add a second tv and my reception was even better. I simply put it on a cabinet in front of a window facing the transmitters. I didn't need to mount it on the roof.

I used the ClearStream 4V antenna to replace my attic mounted huge antenna. While the old antenna was in excellent shape, it failed to pull in all desired stations. This may have been due to additional tree growth. The 4V was easy to assemble, and install. It works great, mounted on the same mast. I am very happy with purchase.

Picks up UHF and VHF from at least 40 miles

I live 40 miles from the nearest towers and there is one local broadcast station still on VHF frequency. I tried several indoor antennas to get this local NBC affiliate with no success. Finally went out and bought an outdoor antenna and it picks it up clear. Quite a few parts to this but the instructions are easy enough, and it mounted to the roof quite well. I am happy with the purchase, it's an integral part of our cut-the-cord setup at home!

Works greats...picked up all available channels...the only thing that I don't like about it is it seems to be very fragile....seems like it could be broken easily ...I mounted it inside my basement because if this...instead if mounting it on the roof... Still picks up 30 +channels..I'm satisfied...

GOOD ANTENNA BUT HAS NARROW BEAM WIDTH

This seems to be a real good antenna. It went together well. It pulls in stations well. The only thing about it that is a little disappointing is the field of vision. Even though it says that it is Omni direction it is not. I was disappointed that it actually has a very narrow beam width. I have TV stations all around me and I can only get the ones that I point the antenna at. I can not get them all at that same time. I call Tech Support and asked how to resolve this issue and why I wasn't getting all the channels at once and that's when I was told about the beam width. This would have been very helpful info prior to purchase. The person suggested that I return it and recommend another model that had a much wider beam width but it was past Best Buys 15 day return period so I am stuck with it. Trying to brain storm ideas with the Tech support person from Antenna's Direct we came up with the only options were to decide which channels were more important and point that way and forget the others or buy another antenna for a total of two so that they can point at two directions at once and combine the signals or install a electric rotator to move antenna around to the different stations that I want to watch which is 50 plus year old technology. In todays modern world, why? That wouldn't allow other people to watch different stations in other rooms if the one they want was in a different direction then the one I am watching. This antenna is not that cheap at average price of $150 to buy two of them. That would be a $300 investment to watch over the air TV. I wish that the Best Buy sales person would of had more knowledge and explained to me when I asked about Omni Directional antennas and that they still have varying beam widths. I would have bought a different antenna and or bought a cheaper model and bought two of them and a signal combiner for the price of this one antenna. I would only recommend this antenna to people who have the stations they want to watch all in the same directions. For me that is not a option. ABC is to my west and NBC is to my south and to SE and CBS is SW and the other networks are to my north. The antenna can't not pick up all those directions at once.

Exceptional product. Watched a YouTube video about "cutting the cable cord" and purchased this on their recommendation. It does not disappoint. I get all the free HD broadcasts (30 channels). I told Comcast and my $150 a month bill for channels I have never watched, BYE--BYE!

I tried 2 smaller indoor antennas, one amplified, and had marginal results with VHF channels. This antenna performs much better. I have it split to 2 TVs and it still performs great, despite splitter loss. It's a bit larger than I anticipated, but not huge. Assembly and installation were easy, but you have to pay attention when attaching the UHF elements. It mounted easily with the mounting bracket and hardware provided. I have already recommended it to several friends.

If you are looking to get rid of cable and the cost, this is the antenna you need to buy. We have hooked 3 TVs to this antenna and it has done well. We started out with it in the attic, but realized it works a little better outside on our roof.

This antenna worked very well and received a great number of stations. However, in our rural area we needed either a rotor or Omni-directional antenna. We opted to purchase the Omni-directional. In other areas I think would be a great choice.

I tried 4 different types of antennas. I couldn't get any channels. This antenna is amazing I'm getting 50+ clear chrystal clear HD channels. Well worth the money.

Bought this for my dad in Arizona. He couldn't get a good signal. My guess is because of the mountains. We tried several less expensive antennas. They worked OK but not satisfactory. I saw this and told my dad if this doesn't work nothing will. I haven't seen the picture quality yet but he has yet to complain. Not hearing him complain means it must work great.

This was bought for a family member who "cut the cables" and didn't have any local channels. We installed this antenna and the picture and channels come in clear. It is mounted on a chimney and has survived numerous thunderstorms. I would recommend this antenna.

We pick up over one hundred channels with this antenna. Paired it with an active splitter to keep the signal strong. All of the local channels are in crystal clear HD. Goodbye monthly cable bill!

I installed this antenna in my attic and now receive several more stations than I did with a wall-mounted flat antenna. During the summer months, when the foliage in the trees was at its maximum, the reception from the wall-mounted antenna would fade in and out on some stations...or not allow me to even receive the over-the-air broadcasts. I am hoping that with the Clear Stream 4V antenna, mounted in the attic, the reception will be good year-round.

I bought to replace inside antenna, after cutting cable TV. Very lightweight parts, and instructions were a little confusing, but device works great! Have had up on roof for over 3 months now with no loss of reception. Winter weather has had no adverse effect on it. Am very happy with it. Will look toward purchasing an amplifier, to see if I can pull in more stations. Receiving 50 Chicago-land stations now and am 30-40 miles from most stations.

I had read several reviews on indoor outdoor antennas when we decided to cut the cord. I had tried a few of the less capable antennas and was resigned to idea I would only get very local OTA channels. I did also purchase the amplifier/splitter and picked up channels I didn't know were available.

Assembly can be a little challenging for a novice, but one assembled the unit works great. All the local channels are just a crisp and clear as digital channels provided by paid providers. This unit paid for itself in less than a month. Wish I would done this years ago.
