Took a while to put together but it’s a good antenna

I waited a long time and read a lot of reviews before I bought this one. It is great! I can't tell the difference between this and cable. The picture is so clear! I live in a valley and I still get several "local" channels. They are all at least 40 miles away. I planned on getting this to receive locals, and using a streaming service to get the other channels we watch so I could get rid of expensive cable. This is a GREAT antennae. It was really easy to put together and mount. We don't even have it up that high! I put it on a tree stump to test it before we mounted it on the roof, and still got 12 channels! Now I get 16 from the roof, which is fine.

We are in the process of getting rid of Dish and decided that this is the antennae that we could use. We don't watch all that much television, but we are able to get the network stations which is all we really need.

This is NOT one of the "free TV key" types of antenna. Those will work well if you are within 10-20 miles of the broadcast but such is not my case. Most of the stations I like to watch are 50+ miles away I used to have an old school large VHF/UHF outdoor antenna that worked well but due to age and an oak tree growing into it, it fell apart. I tried some of the smaller $30 to $40 antenna's on the market but never could get the reception I'd had with my old antenna. I decide to take a chance and try this one and am very happy with it. It gets all the channels I could before and even a few new ones that haven't seen before. It also supplies signal for both of my TV's via a signal splitter with no ill effects. My only complaint would be that I wish the included mast was about a foot taller. I mounted mine on the eave of the house and due to the roof angle can't quite get it to a level position. That doesn't seem to hurt it's performance though.
