Having read other reviews on this site, I wasn't exactly sure if it would work as well as I was hoping. It's pretty pricey compared to the indoor one I currently had. I have been experiencing channels going in and out and freezing. I live in the city of trees so my biggest concern was reception thru large trees. I looked up my address on the website provided with the antenna to figure out which way was best to point it. Naturally right in the direction of a huge tree. I went and installed on top of my roof as per the directions provided. This antenna did not disappoint and not only did it give me perfect reception on the channels I was getting but I think I now get over double the amount of channels. Picture quality is excellent and in full HD. Worth every penny!

Not better reception than smaller / less expensive antenna for my area; Likely due to topography and natural obstructions. Will be upgrading to an omnidirectional antenna.

great antenna and good support but i wish that best buy would have known more about it because the sales guy said all i needed was an amp splitter to plug into it... not the case. i was on the phone with support and i had to buy another pre-amp from their site for additional $80... with that and this antenna, i got more channels. i have it in the attic right now but will wait until spring to put it on the roof. Before the pre-amp i only got 3... after the pre-amp, i got 15. so it works great but it just stinks that i had to wait another week to get my pre-amp from the company instead of BB having it and knowing anything about it.

Now I don't pay for cable bill. The signal is awesome.

This was supposed to be a great antennae for local channels. Most of the stations are within 20 miles and there are still some that do not come in. The ones that do are great but this product is definitely over rated.

The installation of the antenna was very simple and was easy to assemble. I can receive some channels but not all that I was hoping for. I'm about 35 miles from the tower that I can''t get channels from but there is a decent amount of small mountains and a forest between me and the tower(Central PA mountains). The channels that I do receive are crystal clear HD. I would recommend this to someone in an area without mountains. But if you live in a more rural area I would try to find a bigger antenna

I live 45 miles west of Chicago. I originally had an indoor amplified square wall antenna, but had to adjust to get some channels and some channels did not come in or fade out. With this antenna I get more channels without any adjusting. This antenna also does not use electricity. I have this antenna inside my house in my attic. I am not using any amplifier and I get all channels even channel 2, which i could not even get with the square wall antenna. So great product that actually does what it claims.
