  • When I purchased my computer it came with Webroot Internet Security plus, then it expired so I purchased just the Antivirus, now I cannot get it to register this one, it keeps telling me my subscription is expired, so there is no way to do any scans or anything, I will be taking this back and will be forced to buy the more expensive one.damvinny

    I had this product for about a Year or more, I am an IT guy and usually I would support the product by installing it on my customers computers but the challenge comes when trying to get a hold of customer service or to reset your password, right there is when the pain will start. Who cares if you are up to your neck of work and with a pretty busy agenda, if you try to reset your password or your security code, you won't get it right when you need it, it will takes hours in order to get that link to reset your password. on this days, is unacceptable, impossible to deal with such kind of service. so if your are full of free time to wait until a company wants to answer you, then this is the product for you, but if you are in trouble, my friend this is the Antivirus Software you want to install to get stress out and pull your hair and pain on your shoulders, yes this is your thing... if not? then DO NOT INSTALL THIS SOFTWARE WITH A CRAPPY CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT!! - if you have the -6 months trial, try to reset your password, just for fun and wait ages!~ haha nah I am good, no more crappy customer services on my computer. no more! ahh and this is not everything, I was complaining with the CHAT customer services and the person NAOMI J didn't wanted to listen to me but to fight me back with silly questions not allowing me to ventilate my need, so she just terminated the chat and that's it, there is no way to track her back etc. -

    Let me start by saying, I've used Webroot for at least 3 years now. With my most recent renewal, I typed the new code into both my computers like I have in the past, but this time it made both of them completely inoperable. After a lot of frustration I managed to re-install it on my Mac desktop and it seems to be working again. I still can't get it to work on my laptop (I had limited MBs to start with so I'm literally trying to delete files to make enough space to re-install it, but that is difficult when the software is making it so it won't even book). Even when I re-installed it on my Mac, It won't let me overwrite the old version so I have 2 versions of the same stupid program taking up space. Not sure what they did, but they have royally jacked this up. Disappointed. I assumed with the 1st computer, I had done something wrong, but the 2nd makes it clear it is a system issue and it has cost me HOURS of frustration and research. Avoid at all costs!!!

    I still have problems in my laptop.

    I looked for the Norton anti virus when i went into the store but unfortunately there is nothing under that sign so the sales person recommended web root and I tried this for the first time. But my laptop having problems i never had before like the redirect and advertisement windows pop up all the time.

    I have always used Norton then switch to this the last 2 years. Every time i go to yahoo after reading a few stories i get a pop up that counts down and says windows has been infected. Webroot scan never shows anything at all.

    I'm not satisfied with this product. Webroot software was supposedly easy to install, however this copy was troublesome for my laptop and Geeksquad pointed at Webroot and Webroot pointed at Geeksquad. I will not purchase a Webroot product again.

    Webroot does not let the public know there are problems with their software and Windows 8. I cannot access the internet with my new computer even after deleting their product.

    My computer got a virus after Webroot installation

    My tech people advised me that Webroot does not have a very effective firewall. I installed it 2 months ago and today my computer was infected with a virus.

    Webroot is already on my computer, and will not let me update with new software ID. The new software will not install because the existing webroot blocks it.

      There is a way to enter the new license; from the main interface, click on the My Account gear on the right hand side of the program. On the keycode tab in the Activate an new keycode field, enter your keycode and click the activate button. The keycode will be twenty characters long. If you need assistance with this, please contact the Best Buy Assurance Center at 1-800-433-5778 and ask them for your new keycode.
