Great screen extender for the price. But only compatible with USB-C to USB-C. It doesn't work with most of devices which sucks!

Screen broke before I was even able to use it...the result of a little bump that should NOT have been catastrophic.

I’ve been using this AOC portable monitor for three weeks now, and it’s been running non-stop without any issues. It's a Type-C to Type-C DisplayPort Alt monitor, but it’s important to note that just because your laptop has a Type-C port, it doesn’t necessarily mean it will work with this monitor. You need to verify that your laptop supports DisplayPort Alt mode over Type-C. If you understand how Type-C technology works, this monitor performs fantastically. I use it in my car, connected to both my Asus ZenBook and Galaxy S23 Ultra. While the brightness could be better, especially in direct sunlight, for $109, it's hard to complain. For comparison, the Asus ZenScreen is significantly brighter, but it costs around $200. This monitor also features two VESA mounting holes, which is great if you're considering using it as a mini rack monitor, and it includes a mini HDMI port for connecting to more traditional devices. In terms of power consumption, it’s impressively efficient, drawing only around 6-7 watts during use. One pleasant surprise was discovering that the monitor supports HDR, even though it's not listed in the official specifications. With some tweaks in the OSD, I was able to get the picture quality much sharper than the stock AOC profile. As for the speakers, they're relatively quiet. They're slightly louder than the speakers on my Galaxy S23 Ultra but still quieter than my ZenBook’s Harman Kardon audio system. While they’re not the best speakers, they get the job done. Overall, this monitor is a significant upgrade over the previous USB 3.0 AOC portable monitor Best Buy sold.

This is a great quality portable monitor for being on the go. Connects to your laptop seamlessly, especially if you’re using USB-C. However, keep in mind, if you’re not using USB-C to connect, you have to use a mini-HDMI cable. This is different from micro-HDMI and HDMI and is a little harder to find an adapter or cable for. Good news is that you can find a converter online for cheap—don’t need to get a specialized cable if you don’t really need one. My specific use case is connecting this monitor to a Raspberry Pi so I can run my own smart hub. If you’re using this as a secondary monitor for a laptop, the colors are good but not great—so if you’re using this for gaming or watching movies, definitely use it as your secondary screen and not primary. However if using for office productivity or homework, it is perfect.

Excellent display and no connection issues at all. Connected provided USB-C cable between the monitor and my HP laptop and the display was immediately recognized. Connected my laptop power supply to the monitor and my laptop started charging through the display. Extremely easy to use and will go with me on all of my travel going forward. Monitor comes with case like an iPad cover that doubles as a stand. Very useful and protects the monitor when not in use.

Quick and easy set up. The cover/stand it comes with works well. It also works well with a tablet arm holder for smaller desks. The only issue is the brightness on the screen is still fairly low. However as a portable monitor this product is great.

The AOC 15.6″ portable monitor is ultra-light, easy to carry and perfect for productivity on the go, thanks to USB-C single-cable connectivity, though it’s best suited for basic tasks and not high-end colour work or gaming due to its modest specs.

I bought this for my husband when he travels or goes into the office as he is used to having multiple monitors at his home office. This is perfect! It has a good resolution, light, easily set up, etc. He is tremendously happy with it. We may end is getting him one more. Highly recommend.

This is a fantastic portable monitor for the price. I was looking for something I could bring to a coworking space or coffee shop as a second screen and this is perfect. It’s easy to set up, a great size, and comes with the nice carrying standing case and usb-c connector cord. Big fan! Only wish the cord included was a little longer and screen was a bit brighter but for just over $100 you can’t beat it!

Works well with my laptop HP Envy. I use it to do all behind the scenes stuff you don't want in your stream on main screen. It's was budget friendly, easy to use, can connect to android for dex, good picture, came with usb C cord, light weight, same size as my laptop so it fits in carrying case with laptop. Overall I'm pleased with the monitor.

Excellent portable monitor, light weight and very easy to hook up.

Easy to carry due to slim design. Quick set up. Only other thing is I wish it was HDMI capable. If you have a laptop that connects with usb-c to charge, it could be an issue.

This portable monitor has been a game-changer for my work travel. The 15.6" size is perfect—not too bulky, but big enough to use as a true second screen. The IPS display is sharp and bright, making spreadsheets, video calls, and even movies look great. Setup is simple—just plug it in via USB-C or HDMI and you’re ready to go. The touchscreen feature adds extra convenience for quick navigation. I’ve used it in hotels, airports, and even on construction sites, and it’s held up well. The only small drawback is that the included stand could be sturdier, but I fixed that by using a separate tablet stand. Otherwise, it’s reliable, lightweight, and a must-have for productivity on the road.

This laptop extender did the job easily and efficiently! Just what I was looking for. It is a bit long but very thin and easy to move with. The image quality is great and colors are bright. Simple to use with or without instructions. Will definitely be buying another in the near future to have as a back up or for another screen. Amazing purchase!
