Awesome display with very bright screen and very good colors would recommend very inexpensive for what you get 10/10

The colors on this thing when calibrated easily beat most other similarly priced monitors. Easy reccomend especially if you get it on sale.

BUYER BEWARE, THIS JANK MONITOR MADE ME WASTE AN ENTIRE NIGHT TROUBLESHOOTING ISSUES! I just built a new PC today and was getting really bizarre behavior. Random power loss in BIOS, in windows, when I'd start up a game. I'm over here thinking my GPU isn't seated properly or I need to swap out my PSU, swap out the RAM, maybe its the processor.... NOPE, IT WAS THIS JANK MONITOR. AVOID, THIS IS GARBAGE. THE FIRMWARE IS ABSOLUTE TRASH Even when the monitor does "work" as intended, the firmware is still plagued with bugs/quirks. Brightness is maxed out when using local dimming. Turning on DisplayHDR will cause all SDR content to be oversaturated when you turn it off, with the only solution being a factory reset. The full array local dimming also looks awful for web browsing or general productivity use. You are paying an extra $100 for a feature that you can't use at night due to max brightness, and during the day is less impactful due to ambient light, and only makes sense to turn on during media consumption. It is just awful. There is no fix for this. Avoid. If I could give this negative stars I would.

Good color and good mini led for the price, look at rtings for a better review of this monitor but great for the price.

I actually bought two of these monitors. First one had some color issues but that can happen with any monitor. Second one has been perfect. For the price, and other online reviews the monitor works as intended. Price to performance is met especially when you can get it on sale.

If you’re looking for an OLED monitor but don’t have the budget for it, get this, don’t need to think twice.

Its pretty good, especially for its price point, my onlu gripe is that it doesnt seem super sturdy with the base stand.

Great monitor. Didn't work for my space, but build quality is incredible and it looks amazing color-wise. BB was very helpful with the return.

HDR mode made the picture visually worse, as in bright colors were heavily washed out and there was next to no increase in perceivable contrast, with next to no options to calibrate or adjust color settings. HDR would also make the monitor eye-searingly bright and my eyes were watering after only an hour of use. Also ended up being to big for my desk so I had to return it.

If you value smooth gameplay I'd avoid this monitor like the plague. My old Asus 75hz TN panel felt faster than the G40. With the G40, you could feel the stutters whenever you move the camera in games like RDR2 or GTAV enhanced. VRR and Vsync never seemed to fix it, even when capped at 120fps. Screen tearing was also an issue for me, even with Vsync enabled. Almost felt like Gsync wasn't working at all. VRR flicker was prevalent with some black smearing as well. The viewing angles were also atrocious, you could be sitting dead center in front of the monitor and still notice the edges of the screen fading out whether its close up or further away. Can't speak for HDR cause I don't bother with it but the colors in SDR looked washed out with a red tint. When selecting SRGB color space it locks a lot of settings for some reason. You can't get the full 10 bit color at the max refresh rate and the reason why I kept it at 120hz which was a bit of a let down. It seems that this monitor performs badly at lower refresh rates around 80 to 120hz which is what I mostly play at. I am convinced that the people who give these AOC monitors all the praise don't actually play video games. My advice? Stick to an IPS or spend some more cash on an OLED if you value smoothness and color accuracy. Also please don't listen to the snake oil salesman at Rtings, they love to give these monitors a good rating. Maybe the panel I bought could've been a dud but this was just my experience as an average gamer.

The monitor is performance is decent. However, it has a dead pixel. I've seen a number of other posts in other forums mentioning dead/stuck pixels. I asked BB to give me a retroactive discount and I'd keep the monitor but it's against their or AOC's policy. So instead I have to repackage and return the monitor, BB has to send it back to AOC, AOC has to refurbish it and then sell it to someone else at a discount instead of just discounting for me. What a waste. So, I take off 3 stars for the dead pixel and the wasteful policy.

This is my first 1440p monitor that I finally jumped on because I just wanted to try it. Been a 1080p fan for a long time but since I hooked this bad boy up and launched my shooty games I wish I'd bought one sooner. The clarity and options this thing has are awesome. I couldn't be happier!
