I bought this to use for backing up electronic music equipment in event of power failure. It is robust, and APC has been there for m over the years, My only problem with the unit is only half of the plugs are on the battery side. The other half is simply a surge protector.

So far so good have had this brand before and it lasted for ever.

can't really say much about a UPS. connected the battery, plugged it in and it works; haven't needed the battery backup yet so I don't know how long it lasts in the real world. Manufacturers always seem to overestimate the run time.

The UPS, replaced an older unit that was not able to hold a charge. This unit was able to keep the computer and screen up until it power off. It would be better if there was more gap between the outlets to handle angled plugs found on some SOHO switches. Two is barely enough.

its working so I have no complaints. We had the same model previous to buying this and the battery burned up in it. But I think that the person that put it in for out phone and alarm system gave us a used or refurbished model.

APC is easy to set up and has sufficient outlets for several devices. Power cord is long, allowing the main body to be easily placed where you need it, and still be out of the way. Price at time of purchase was lowest in this area.

I like that the outlets on this are placed far enough away to use all of them and that the plugs face to the outside edges so that it is easy to unplug something if you need to. It is a little bulky, but the peace of mind is worth it.

APC is the most reliable, longest lasting battery backup.

Nothing like working on something important and you lose power. Not only are you protecting your investments but you have time to close things down without losing your work!!

This was my first UPC purchase. Bought it and had problems almost immediately. Called APC's customer service & they walked through troubleshooting with me & then ended up RMA'ing the device. New one works great! Only reason for not giving 5 stars is the troubleshooting included in the instructions booklet left a lot to be desired.

I have multiple APC UPSes. They are great. They all have hot swappable batteries. You can buy replacement generic batteries in the internet for a very reasonable price. Unless you have multiple and extended power outages EVERYDAY, the battery should generally last quite a long time. My oldest APC is about 19 years old and still works and protecting my devices. My UPSes have given me reliable, seamless, extended and uninterrupted internet and phone services during ocassional power failures.

Bought this to replace another backup battery by another manufacturer. Important to me that battery compartment easily accessible so battery can be replaced. Have always had good luck with APC products. Would buy again.

Easy to install - good physical size for my purposes.

This product is great for making sure I have time to save my data in the event of power loss! Very easy to use, and for a reasonable price.

Very easy to setup. No problems and it works great.

I have been using APC units since 1995 and still have the first one that I purchased. Needed to add another APC for a newer Computer. I even have my washing machine plugged into an APC-UPS because of the computer boards in it. I also have 2 Laser Printers and each one of them are tied into a separate APC-UPS and have not missed one print job. Living in a very rural area we have a lot of electric fluctuation and outages here. Thank you for the improvements and the updates. Charles Bentel Bent-L Window Cleaning.

I use it to keep my modems alive. Love the 8 power outlets, well spaced for large a/c adapters. Haven't yet tested how long it will power various devices. Wait to get it for a good sale price.

APC has always had quality products. I will choose the Cyberpower if APC isn't at Best Buy. I'm glad that they provide a few options for batteries. Great idea for a gift.....for your kids.

I have these all over my house. My only complaint is that with the cr@ppy power that is in my area, I wish my older ones had the ability to report like the new one does. I take a star away as there needs to be more space between some of the plugs for the odd ball things that need plugging in.

The UPS is fine, but 3 of the 4 outlets for battery backup (and for surge protection for that matter) are too close together to accommodate even relatively small power bricks. I had to add 6" extension cords to plug in the 4 devices I wanted protected.. It looks messy, but it works.
