Great value for the price! This my 3rd product from APC, never been disappointed.

I have APC UPS units on my AV system, my and spouse's computers. All have provided good performance for short utility outages. Typical outages are from milliseconds to a few minutes and these protect data and the power supplies from too many bad power bumps. The actual harmonic distortion generated by the units are terrible, but that is what happens with inexpensive equipment. Well worth the price.

I ordered this UPS to replace one that was several years old that had finally died. This one was the closest match to the prior one. I was surprised that the shipping was free considering the weight. It actually arrived a day ahead of schedule.

I love UPS units. I personally think they are the best investment one can make for their expensive electronics. UPS units protect your PC in an outage so you can power down normally and also having your TV and cable box on a UPS allows you some precious time to keep the TV on in case of severe weather alerts and also the same with PC's. UPS units come in a variety of internal battery sizes and outlet configurations for longer life. The one caveat I have is the internal batteries of each unit I have purchased from APC last only as long as the warranty does and when it goes and you need to replace it in a pinch, I have found it nearly impossible to locate the internal batteries and they do not sell them at Best Buy, causing me to purchase an entire unit. In the end if you split the cost by the years of service you get from the unit it is still pretty cost effective to just replace everything every three years. This is one of those things you never think you need until you need it and if you don't already have one it is bad news. Hope this review helps!

The one I bought in December 2016 was actually manufactured in early 2014 so the battery was already almost 3 years old. I had a problem with another one (same make and model number) that instead of beeping when the power went out would just start making a clicking sound. I contacted APC Tech support and I received excellent service from them. They don't have the BN600G in stock so there are shipping me two of the new BE650G1 models as warranty replacements. APC is one of the few companies that stands behind their products. Best Buy should also check their stock so they don't ship out old out of date merchandise.
