    I previously purchased heavy & expensive UPS that failed after a a year or two. This one is economically priced with a 3 yr factory replacement warranty. It also has a compartment door to access a replaceable battery after the 3 yr warranty expires. Really nice feature. Also ports for Cat5 protection and usb auto shut down cable to PC if desired.

    Works great and powerful like the 650VA model and APC has always been one of the leaders. Just amazed at the people with desktops who don't buy battery backups. I tell enough people it pays for itself and protect your hard drive since the new ones are made pretty cheap and also protect the power supply since surge protectors are useless.
