I mainly purchased this for piece of mind just in case of a power outage. We have not had one up to this point however, when I unplugged the unit from the wall the computer remained on so I am sure it will do the job it's intended to do when needed. I am very pleased with this purchase and I recommend this product.

I use the backup for my home PC and router and it works fine. It was very easy to set up and easy to use.

This product is intended to supply battery power to the connected equipment for a short period of time during a power outage. It is also intended to protect the equipment in the case of a power surge. So far, it has not been tested under these conditions, so it is hard to give a complete evaluation. APC has an excellent reputation and an excellent warranty to allow replacement of the equipment if the product fails. I have had two previous APC Back-UPS and have never been disappointed.

Works well and easy to set up. The price was reasonable.

I purchased this unit as a backup for my home PC/modem/router and it works nicely for this purpose. The outlets could be spaced apart a little better, but this is only a problem if you have manufacturers with large or oddly shaped AC adapters.

Easy install easy to use. Plug it in and forget about it.

These backup batteries do just what they should during power outages. The batteries last a very long time.

I plugged it in and it provided power to my devices. Until I have a bad lightning storm or the thing prematurely dies, I have no way to judge.

Solid product with a top tier company behind it. Recently I received a product recall from APC for a surge protector that was almost 15 years old. I verified that I still had it and they sent a replacement immediately. That is definitely a company from which to purchase such items.

I encourage protecting all major electronics with a backup power supply. It will protect against power line surges and the occasional blink of power interruption. Of course it will provide power to vital equipment in the event of a total power outage. Computers, in particular, don't like 'blinks'!!!!

Fast and easy set up. Pulled plug and no issues with power flow or system. Had two major lightening storms and no interruption to system while clocks and other appliances had power interrupted. Nice lines, easy to get out of the way. Simple instructions and markings on the housing. Very pleased.

Bought this primarily to allow my network attached storage system to gracefully shut down in the event of a power outage as well as to power and protect the other network and communications components in the area. The network interface works flawlessly and the setup was a snap. The only issue is that the outlets are not spaced very well if several devices have transformer type plug ins (wall-warts) so I deducted one star.

After using a laptop for many years, with its ability to continue functioning when a power outage suddenly occurs, it's reassuring to have enough backup power available for my new desktop computer to allow it to be safely shut down in the event of an unexpected power outage.

I bought this for my TV and cable box, we get a lot of power fluctuations and short power outs here in Miami, two weeks after WE hooked it up we had a power surge to off and a minute later back on, the Tv kept playing as if nothing happened, we also had the Xbox and Soundbar hooked up to it

This does exactly what it should. When the power goes out, my computer and printer stay on. It hasn't been off long enough for me to test the time until the battery runs out, so I can't comment on that. But for short outages, it has been exactly what I bought it for.

In 14 years I have purchased 3 of these and it has been a great way to save data during power outage and save wear and tear on my equipment from brown outs, surges etc. this last one was purchased for my smart tv, 1tb hard drive/cloud and the desk top I use on the TV for movies.

This backup device doesn't hold its charge for very long. Thinking of replacing it for a better one.

there is not much to say about this, it does what it is supposed to do. When first setting it up I had it on a table and my kid grabbed the cord and it it fell. Thankfully this heavy UPS missed him when it fell (that would be a fun one to explain to child protective services). Unfortunately it did get a good size crack in its plastic shell. Fortunately it took a lickin and has kept on ticking.

Provides those extra minutes of up time to allow you to shut electronics down gracefully in the event of a power outage. Also has software that can be installed on a PC to shut itself down in your absence.
