The unit is replacing one that was damaged by an electrical service issue. One side of an industrial 3 phase line dropped at the pole causing sparks & smoke from the old unit. The pc was undamaged.

Live in SW Florida. Thunder and lighting often during the summer causing power to flicker often. PC and router keeps working without going down. Peace of mind knowing this. Only had lights flicker a couple time sence buying product. Haven't had a long outage yet. That will be a better test.

I have APC Backup UPS 650 VA before, I replaced it with 600VA since my old one battery die. It has been service my need for many years. This is the reason I got the APC again.

Bought this for the daughter for her iMac. That is all she uses it for, besides an occasional laptop or tablet/cell phone. APC has always had a solid product, and this is no exception.

I feel secure with this APC Battery Back Up system. I have used APC starting in 2005. Was without for several years and feel much more secure now that i have been able to get this new one.

Average UPS from established name. There is no software for OSX operating system machines limiting functionality to holding power, and preventing surges.

The phone was recommended by your staff since I had an older one by Samsung. I am very pleased with the improvements and that it was so similar to my previous phone.

my Electrical service has left something to be desired. every time I had a power surge you had to reset my DVR. It was very aggravating. This device eliminates that problem.

We recently lost power and my kids cannot go for very long without wifi. I was able to use the router watch the news during the brief outage. Life saver!!!!

These are unfortunately like most technology, once you have used it up you recycle it and buy a new one. Replacing the battery is a waste of time and money because the battery isn't always the first part to go - the power controller fails after a few years which makes the unit unusable. Still it works well during its warranty period, just expect to replace it once the warranty expires.

Great protection for your electronics, this is the second unit i buy and I'm using it for my TV and Surround Sound. APC is definitely one of the best brand for the job.

I bought this to replace an APC that I had used for 6 years without any problems so I felt it was worth continuing with the same brand. So far it has worked flawlessly.

the power surge alone is worth the money and the battery backup is a plus. lets me connect all my consoles and tv on one plug freeing up some room.

This back-up device protects very well and with the powerchute software installed gives you detailed information on its status and any events that may have happened!!

(Thankfully) I haven't had to put this backup to the test but it seems to be working out. Some of the plug facings and spacings are not what you would expect, but nothing major. Just takes a tiny bit of shuffling plugs around until everything fits.

I have a few of these in the house -- have the modem and router connected to one so that you get uninterrupted access even when power is out for a short time

There's not much to say except the UPS is something I can count on. It has sufficient capacity for my use, and the price was what I was expecting.
