Great surge protector with back up power. Only 4 stars as it is very heavy

I bought this battery pack to replace one I had used for two years at my home office. The former battery back-up failed due to numerous power surges I was receiving at my home over that time. It did it's job by protecting my computer. That is why I chose to purchase the same brand/model to replace it.

I purchased this electric backup product to power an electric sensor that I have that monitors temperature and humidity in my home. When the power in my home goes down, the sensor stops functioning and does not restart even when electricity is restored. The backup product was very easy to setup and has been functioning flawlessly since I purchased it. I spoke to the manufacturer before buying it and concluded this product and battery size met my needs. I bought it at Best Buy online and the service was excellent.

Picked this unit up to add ups for our projector mounted in ceiling. Wanted something cheap and replaceable that was also small so I could mount it in attic for easy replacement later on. Batteries die in these things over time.

Have always used APC, a good product. Just be careful of the #s the 550v and up are good for home, anything lower is only good for modems, routers etc. Great for your home theater setup too! Tried the OTHER brand C.and they don't last.

Enough outlets. Compact. I'm liking the product so far.

This is a replacement for my old battery backup system which started beeping at me; I was told by Best Buy that means I need a new one. The new one was easy to install and has come down in price since I last purchased one.

On these stormy nights, pc kept flickering on and off. So I got a power backup to protect equipment from damage. OUt of the box and plug in. Easy fix for my troubles.

Thus far this product has survived a few storms a blackout and several brown outs. My computer stayed on and active throughout it all with no bumps in the road. Longevity of product cannot be determined at this time.

The APC was installed with a small form factor pc and a 22" monitor. Keeps everything running for about 10 minutes. Not too bad. I like that I can replace batteries easily when they die instead of purchasing a new UPS.

This works great with Florida's sudden flash power outages. I use it for my home pc has saved me from losing my work several times in the short time I've had it.

I always use APC brand UPS devices when I can. They built solid and are always reliable. I have 7 throughout my household. We get pretty bad storms in these parts and I've never lost any electrical equipment.

Good product gives about 15-20 minutes when lost power, but it is doing a weird issue, if a laser printer or a Dot Matrix printer power on in the same room (different outlet) this battery backup will take the computer to sleep mode right a way !!

Works - no issues. Software that comes with UPS is junk, better to use the built in Windows / Mac software to control your PC. Also FYI - don't try & plug in a laser printer to the battery side, you will overload the device - laser printers draw too much power on startup to connect to such a small battery.

Works great, and it's really quiet while it's on. Multiple outlets for everything, it is really bulking and heavy so it's hard to store under a small desk.

This is one of many UPS purchases that I have made of APC devices. This one is really good, the extra battery life compared to my previous one the 350, yes I tested it, was worth the upgrade.

Installed this unit and it's been working fine. Haven't had to test it in a full power outage yet, but the unit is responding well and provides us with all the features we need in a UPS unit.

I've used APC for years and never had any issues. Last year I purchased 2 of these for work. Put one in the customer service area to protect 2 PCs. Have had no problems there. The 2nd was installed in shipping to protect 2 PCs. Only the PCs are plugged into these machines, so nothing else is drawing on them. The UPS in shipping began to fail after about a month. Best Buy replaced it. The replacement did the same after only a week or so. With full power on (no surge or interruptions) the UPS would just shut off and then power back on. So the PCs being "protected" would get dumped and begin to reboot before being dumped again. The line voltage in shipping does fluctuate slightly, but not low enough that the UPS should shut itself off while still begin supplied sufficient line voltage. My guess is the battery just wouldn't stay charged and eventually caused the UPS to shut off even while the power was on. I've replaced the APC 600 in shipping with an CyberPower 850. So far, no problems.

Bought this for my cable/VOIP telephone cabl end point. It keeps them alive for 45 minutes in a power outage, which is longer than most outages in my area. Great insurance at a value price

Been using APC products for years to protect computer, so when bought new TV got one for new entertainment system. APC has saved me from electric surges and disasters over the years.
