I bought this product so that if our power is out we will still have access to WiFi . When the electricity is out our cell phones are not the best for keeping up with the news or Electric company. We have not had a power outage so I don’t know if this product fits the description. So far, product is on and fully charged. I bought this product based on price and customer reviews. I have however charged my cell phone. I am giving this product 5 stars and will be purchasing another backup battery for my lamp.

A relatively compact UPS, this not only solved what I needed, but I bought a second one to accommodate all the connections I have (one computer, three backup drives, two printers, and two hubs). I've owned APC backup units before, and they always work well for battery backing of computer systems.

Got to test it already just one day after buying during a storm that kicked power off a minute or so. Definitely a must have for your computer or multimedia devices.

This is the 3rd APC backup of this type, They are compact, reliable, and have more battery+surge outlets than surge only (5 vs. 2). Highly recommended.

I bought this before the blackouts in Texas from last winter blizzard and it performed really well. It was slim enough to fit into my Legrand On-Q enclosure and was able to keep my modem, router and 2 access points powered for over half an hour when I thought it would last just 5 minutes.

I purchased this APC unit (plus another one), because I have used their profucts for years, and they have been reliable. Before purchasing APC for the first time back in the 1990's, a friend told me about their connected equipment guarantee. I never thought I would need it, but back then, I had a power surge which fried my PC. APC paid to have the PC replaced. I've been sold on them ever since. Fortunately, I haven't had a power surge like that since.

APC always makes great products. This 650VA Battery Back-Up and Surge Protector is very good for relatively short intervals of power outages. For more plugs and longer lasting power, the 900VA version is also a good choice. Hard to go wrong with APC.

I've been using APC Back-UPS for 30+ years, at home and work. This is a recent purchase for home office use. I bought the same 650VA 6.5 years ago, and yes never changed the battery. I'm in Florida, ligtening capital, and have never lost equipment. I will continue to shop and purchase APC when needed.

Bought to power/protect network equipment and some audio equipment.
Have installed several for similar uses around the house, so stuck with what I knew worked.
Will typically keep low power devices going for an hours or two

The same day I got my upgraded Windows 11 computer hooked up and running, my 3 year old APC UPS died; typical life span for these units. The new one is a step up from the old one, providing more battery run capacity. Pros: number of outlets and reliable APC build and performance. Cons: non-replaceable battery and limited recycling options. Best Buy sells these, but doesn't accept them for recycling. 4 stars reflect cons.

It's a battery backup! The only thing with this unit is that the dry cell cannot be changed out once its dead, like the larger units. 5 battery powered outlets with 2 widely spaced for the adapter bricks

Easy to set up. Instructions were clear. It wasn't heavy and doesn't make noises like the ones we have at the office. Perfect to backup the modem/router and should last through all the recent short power outages we've been experiencing. Frustrating to have to reboot everything twice in 1 hour for the short 15sec outages.

This is an excellent light-duty UPS. We have a remote vacation house on a lake in northern Maine and the power frequently has little "hiccups" and sometimes extended outages. This prevents clocks from losing their time, light from blinking on and off, and can keep other small electronics humming for those little blips without missing a beat and, when the outage is longer, depending on what you have plugged in, you get a short while to prepare yourself before you have no more power. I have a few of these to keep some lights going, Internet modem/Wifi, and cordless phone. Well worth it.
