Best UPS backup. I purchased it for my gaming desktop and a few weeks after we had a Thunderstorm. Lights went out at my house but my computer was still running. It gave me enough time for me to save my work and properly turn it off. Wpuld recommend it.

A Best Buy!
This unit does exactly what it is supposed to do. I have a recording studio with a computer and peripheral hardware equipment plugged into this unit audit keeps them safe from surges and gives them smooth, clean power to keep the computer running cooler for longer life.

I used this specifically for my T-Mobile Modem and 2 network routers. In the winter when it's windy and cold here in the northwest, we can get power blips that causes the system to have to restart. I can't have interrupted calls because I work from home and this solved the issue! Not having to wait for my modem and routers to come back online is worth it's weight in gold!

650VA is good enough for router and probably a small switch/AP if needed however I must point out APC is not doing a great job when comes to warning you about the potential maintenance cost of this device as well as clarifying the risk of using this UPS for longer than the warranty came with it.
As you probably can image the battery in this unit will not age well and to a certain point you'll have to replace it, the problem is you'll have to check if the battery is good from time to time yourself by disconnecting it from outlet. To test it thoroughly you may even need wattage meter, etc. Making things really complicated.
It is, obviously, recommended to power off all devices connected to it when conducting the battery test and only use some non-critical device to ensure no data loss during the operation.
If the battery turns out not aging will you may either purchase new UPS or replace the battery in it at ~80% to ~50% of the MSRP which is a hefty pay, in my opinion.
If you are not checking the battery periodically then this device is nothing but a super heavy surge protector giving you fake impression that your devices are protected during power outage while they are not.
The battery degradation can begin as soon as half a year, given how often you're having power outage and the overall environmental condition(e.g. high temperature will do more harm to the battery).
APC allow trade up to their "Smart UPS" but those are not for average people just want to protect their networking devices.

I love the design of this. I had the traditional flat ones that are semi bulcky. I like this because there are two spaced power ports, 2 are surge only (to prevent a heavy drawing power item from overloading the system) and the one USB port. I use this in the garage with some technical equipment and has worked well since. At the time, there were no reviews, but APC is generally reliable. I think there is one with 2 usb ports, but regardless; this one is fine. It's slim and the power cord is a decent length.

It does what it says on the box. This model does not have a USB data port for a computer to communicate with it. It has a USB charging port for mobile devices. Also the internal battery is not user-replaceable, so after 3-5 years you just send this one to recycle and get another.
The 650VA capacity is enough for a flat-screen TV and cable box, or a couple of computers, or various other small electronic devices. Be sure to check the labels on your equipment and don't connect more than this unit can handle.

There isn’t much to say about this product as it works as intended. I haven’t had any issues since I bought the product. With all the gadgets I have plugged in in the house, I may need to purchase a few more to ensure all the connected devices are safely powered. For what it is, I’d recommend getting one.

I really like the small compact shape and design along with the compatibility of the unit. I do wish it had more plugs but I understand it that would probably come with the larger unit which I really didn't need but this fits nicely in my entertainment center for my entertainment system and internet and router.

This unit has been great! This unit protects my desktop computer and some external audio devices for music . The power at my house tends to either go out for anywhere from a few minutes to hours. Sometimes the power goes out for 1-2 seconds, which I call a "blink". Yesterday the I experienced 3 or 4 "blinks". and this APC reacted so fast that my computer had no idea that the power was out. So far, I couldn't be more pleased!!! Highly recommended!!!
