A very good battery backup and surge protector for certain items in our entertainment center. It became a necessity a few years back after a lightening strike took out some of our audio and video devices.

Great trustworthy power backup for home use and small business. Best for use in areas that have short power flickers or outages. Keeps expensive electronics safe and operating through short power failures. Will keep a computer and monitor running for 15 minutes, allowing for continued use during a short power drop or enough time to shutdown properly during a sustained power outage.

I really like this lightweight back up battery. Very easy to install and to use. This works well with my small office.

I got this for my parents to safeguard their electronics after a power outage fried their PC's power supply. Ugh. I connected 7 devices to this UPS - desktop PC, widescreen LCD monitor, Samsung printer, surveillance system, 4:3 LCD monitor for surveillance system, and a router. No problems, no hiccups. Solid performer. It has a very small profile as well, quite the improvement from UPS devices from yesteryear.

The 1st Back-UPS purchased in September was defective. It would work for 2-3 days then cutoff power and emit a high pitched tone until shut off. It had to be shutoff for several hours before it would work again. I contacted APC support via email and they responded in less than a day, giving me a procedure to "reboot" the product. 3 days later the same problem occurred . I again contacted APC support and they initiated a Return Authorization the same day. I received the replacement unit in about 3 days along with a prepaid mailer to return the defective unit. The original product was manufactured in January of 2016 and the replacement unit was manufactured in March of 2016. The replacement unit has been working normally for about 10 days. There are a few other reviews here that had a very similar problem and APC support responded to some of them that some of the early units had issues. So, although I recommend this product, I would check the manufactured date which is on a test datasheet taped to the back of the Back-UPS.to ascertain the manufacturing date. I really like this UPS and recommend it with the above kept in mind.

This back up battery fits a small business needs perfectly. East to install and fits into small spaces.

APC is best on market and this is small and very useful in FL where there are many surges and blackouts

Nice form factor. Good placement of plugs to allow for wide plugs. Do not get version smaller than this because battery is not replaceable. Only supports one pc. Nice small size and modern design.

I look for and usually purchase a brand-name product. This one provides sufficient power for a cash register, credit card machine and fax machine.

This unit works very well, easy to install and not too big. Highly recommend.

This is a good small backup, but make sure you have your electronics plug in on the battery / surge side. Two of the plugs are not with battery just surge.

Old backup died. This unit is smaller and easier design. Only cost a little more than a new battery for the old one.

For the price it’s a good UPS. I was facing a hurricane emergency. I was actually looking for a battery to charge my cellular phone so I can stay connected. When I saw this at Best Buy, I said to myself, “Why not.” This would be able to more than charge my phone, but could also recharge my laptop a few times. Hurricane barely missed us, but I’ve been using this UPS knowing my laptop is safe and secure, and if my island ever gets hit by a hurricane I’ll be able to stay connected with a charger cellphone.

Purchased this for the TV since, we lose power multiple times each year. This product covers the battery back up and surge protection for the TV, Cable, Apple TV, Sound Bar and DVD units. Within 10 days of installing, we lost power during a rain storm for a few minutes. This product worked perfectly for our Grandson to continue to watch his show before his bedtime.

This Battery Back-Up has been working very good. A very good size does not disturb and very easy to install.

Purchased this for my parent's UPS replacement. Instead of buying a new replacement battery, I just upgraded their UPS with this newer thinner one. Installation was quick and easy, no issues. Works great. Installed the Windows10 software (PowerChute Personal Edition) that comes with it and it appeared within the management tools. Hopefully the battery will last a few years. This is a good / general UPS and I've found that APC is always reliable.
