Good size and capacity for one computer, monitor and an external drive. I like the USB power port

With protected and unprotected outlets available, I was able to eliminate a power strip. The unit is perfect in that in a power outage, or fluctuations, it will safely shut down my computer. I only need a few minutes to power down, and the unit provides more than enough time to do that.

Got this for my tv and router. Protects against surges well but best of all it keeps the units on when the power blinks off so it doesn't interrupt the internet connections or risk damaging the tv. It will keep them powered for several minutes so that you can power them down correctly. When the battery is about to give out it will start beeping. I tried it on a desktop computer with an led monitor and it lasted over 12 minutes.

I have used these battery backups for many years and they just do the job. Nothing fancy. The unit has different outlets that offer battery back up and surge protection. The batteries last a long long time. The batteries are replaceable which saves you money when the battery dies.

I was more-or-less forced to buy this backup power supply by OG&E. It seems that they are constantly having 'burps' in their service, which kicks off my computer, my TVs, my Direct TV receiver, my security system, and my clocks. Complaining to OG&E resulted in them telling me I should purchase backup power supplies to prevent any 'shutoffs'. I wound up getting a total of three. My problems seem to have been solved - thanks to Best Buy (not OG&E).

It's a little hard to write a review for a product that is rarely used. This is supposed to be able to power a PC for about 10 minutes after a power outage. I've never tested how long it would power the PC it's attached to.. But it has definitely saved me during power outages, even momentary ones. More than enough time to save work and properly power down. I've been through one prolonged (days) power outage, and while I did not try to power a PC off this unit during that time, it was able to charge smaller devices like phones and tablets that whole time.

Make sure you connect the battery inside before plugging the unit in! Have put all my computer devices connected to this battery and has kept it on despite the occasional brown out in the house. Super handy for the cable modem & router because they take so long to reboot!

The battery backup is built well and quiet. Plug configuration is very functional.

Its job is to give me time to save my work and shutdown my computer and VOIP phone if the power goes out in my area. It does that. I also like that it has spike and surge protection for the other devices not needing battery backup.

Bought two of these to backup two computer systems. Needed something for short outages as we routinely have blown circuit breakers during T-storms. Wanted something that would also automatically shut down the computers during longer outages. This was a good choice. Approximately 25 min runtime with homebuilt i5 9600K gaming computer with monitor, modem, router connected. Second monitor and speakers connected to surge protection only. Powerchute software is easy to install and setup. Only problem I had was when I connected the USB cord from the UPS to the computer it shutdown the UPS. Tried a different USB port, no luck. Tried plugging it in first before powering up- nope. Was going to connect it to the other computer to make sure I didn't have a ground or USB port problem and while looking for my USB extension cable I came across an old APC cable. Connected it and everything works fine. The cable included with the new unit was defective. Not a huge deal, but definitely inconvenient. Overall, this is a good unit for those who need short periods of backup and shutdown protection. It's compact and with the plugs on top works well in a cabinet. It was on sale, so the price was right.

I have a lot of electronic gadgets at home and I like to use a battery back-up UPS for my computers, set-top boxes, and gaming systems because it would be disastrous if a power outage occurred during a system update. And if a power outage occurred while working on my computer, I have time to save off my work and shut it down until power returns to normal. I've had really good luck with APC UPS in the past and this one seems as good as the old model it replaces. I really like the new form factor. It's thinner so it can fit in more places on the floor and there are more wide spaced outlets that are battery backed up than on the older models. Time will tell if it will last as long as the one it replaces but so far so good!

I have always used APC surge protectors, so it was an easy decision to purchase the APC battery back up system for my computer. It was easy to set-up and hopefully will keep my computer, router, and VOIP phone working during the brief power outages.
