I like this Back-UPS because it is lighter than others I have. Also, I like the fact that it is thinner and has a slot for a USB. As a Floridian you need to have a good back-up system and surge protector, especially in hurricane season.

The APC Battery Back-Up System is not that expensive for what it does. Power has been lost several times and each time it has warned with its beeping. I've never lost any data and it always continues working.

This unit is the perfect size for your average desktop computer, monitor, external hard drive, printer and outlets to spare. The set up was very easy. I like the added bonus of a USB power port.

Owned other APC UPSs and found them uncomplicated and reliable.

I use it for a 43” led tv and a ps4. No issues after a month.

The last UPS I bought was from the CRT days, so the lighter weight of this unit threw me at first, but after having it activate a few times during one storm and a random blackout, I am happy with my purchase. I have a pretty basic Core i5 machine with a 350W power supply and a 24" Acer monitor plugged into this unit. Both kept humming during the aforementioned outages with plenty of time to spare (20 minutes according to the software) The unit connects to your PC via a USB cable. The included software is pretty nice; it keeps track of when the unit is tripped, how much power is being drawn in real time, and estimated time until the battery is spent. If you want to protect your equipment, take the money you would spend on overpriced 'power cleaners' and get a solid UPS like this unit.

Use several of these for work, they're great. No problems.

This is a low cost option for a small setup. Can power a computer and monitor for several minutes (long enough for you to shut it down in a power outage event). Like the options that allow you to plug USB devices in for charging.

The unit work well for my tv and hd box. Small footprint.

The battery itself is great for backup when storms come!

Ive used APC battery backups consistently for years with no/minimal hardware issues. Last one got fried during a summer storm. But saved my computer.. new one now has capability to charge devices via USB.. a nice option to have

My older version of this finally gave out and this is a replacement. It is much lighter weight and more compact than my previous UPS. So far it has performed very well and I highly recommend it.

i own many apc ups units. great new design and the alarms don't start until the battery is almost out of energy, instead of as soon as the electrical current goes off.

I'm mixed on the new form factor (shape) but the unit performs as advertised. Surge and battery protected clearly marked, yet everyone at the office will still plug the 1500 watt heater into the battery side. Press and hold power button for two seconds to turn off and on. This is cheap insurance for you quality electronics.

This unit is small, lightweight and yet very powerful. For the power outage during lighting storm, this UPS works great. Give enough time finishing my work, save it and properly shutdown my computer.

So easy to setup. I hope for time to install software :))! I do wish all outlets would be Surge and Power backup; there must be a good reason two are setup as Surge only.. Beauty of a footprint, weight, and look.
