This did not do what I was hoping. Good as a back up for 20-30 mins only. Returned because it wasn't what i was looking for. The customer service employee wasn't sure during the original purchase.

Manufacturer has me confused
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't tell you how many APC UPS' I've purchased in the last 20 years but enough to be shocked after unboxing this "UPS" to find it has no mechanism whatsoever to shutdown a PC gracefully. This product at Best Buy's sits right next to a slightly larger model, the 650 yet the manufacturer gives no indication that one protects computers while this model must not be intended to. Although this will do the trick if the power goes out only briefly, it really serves no purpose for a longer power outage. I see no use case for this device. It's basically just a surge protector and should be marketed as such. I do not recommend purchasing this model.

This unit is designed to connect to small equipment like a router and modem so the data connection to provide a graceful shutdown wasn't added to it. If you do need this feature you could go up to our BN650M1 which would have the feature the data connection that would allow you gracefully shutdown the computer during a power outage.
Wished it had a replaceable battery

Still, I don't like that there doesn't seem to be a way to replace the battery, unlike the larger APC models.

It is likely the extra printer caused the UPS to become overloaded since this unit would only support 255 watts of equipment connected to it. Depending on the type of printer they can draw quite a bit of power which is why we don't recommend connecting the printer too our UPSs. If you can I would either remove the original printer from the UPS or I would at least move it to the surge only outlet. Posted .Thank you for taking the time to review our UPS. I apologize that the battery is not replaceable in the UPS. On the smaller units like this one it is usually more cost effective to replace the entire UPS compared to just the internal battery. On positive side to this is the new UPS would come with a 3 year manufactures warranty while the internal battery would only come with a 1 year factory warranty. If you are interested in having an UPS that has a replaceable battery you can check out our BE600M1.

Biggest waste of money I spent in 2018, Bought in August, died 12/31/2018. When it died there was no battery backup, had to send a couple of hours bringing up and reconfiguring equipment that it was "protecting". Please take my advice it's inexpensive, and total not even worth the `$45 I paid for it. Steer clear of this one!

The first unit started making a loud beep sound about 2 months in there was nothing I could do to silence it. The second one just stopped running my pump. I took them back to best buy and they could not help me told me to contact the manufacture It has been a couple of weeks and I still have not resolution.

Ordering on line they don't have pick up to where they said they would, had the pick up over 100 miles from thevstore theybsaid itbwould delevered at. The whole thing SUCKS.

I have multiple devices connected to it. All outlets are filled when power goes out. I still have power. It’s able to keep things running quite nicely. Obviously the battery is not as big as other competitors or other sizes that you can get so it does limit how much you battery power you do have when it does need to be Turned on but right now I have it set up in my office so if I were to lose power during the day or any type of glitch I still have access to my CPU/computer and my monitors as well so I can continue to work temporarily or at least get documents saved appropriately. That’s what this is used for. It’s a Band-Aid in case you lose power not necessarily a source to provide consistent power so I highly recommend this unit if you have a small office with laptop or desktop PC in a couple monitors it works wonderful Highly recommended

The power flickered and the entire thing turned off with a loud beep on one connected to a computer. The other connected to a computer only 2 ports stayed on during the flicker. The one connected to the modem stayed on but the modem rebooted. Don’t waste your money.

We went this route because it is generally not much more to replace the UPS compared to just the internal battery. This way you get a new unit that would come with a 3 year factory warranty on it.
