Good design. Battery works as expected. Would recommend!

Not using as intended but It has already saved me twice!

While writing this review it sounded to alert me of a problem. The computer continued to work, never lost internet or even my viewing of my monitor as all are plugged into the UPS. Have now purchased four and could not have had better results! The kids are happy too never getting booted off a game or having to reboot to a computer.

I need this as a second backup and it has met my needs.

I needed a small unit for my entertainment center which also includes my internet modem and this has been doing just fine over the last month or so. I've had a few outages and my internet stayed on and my wife was able to keep watching Plex. Obviously, if the outage was long enough I would have shut everything off properly before the battery drained but I haven't had to do that yet.

These are good for computers too, but I needed it to keep the network equipment running during a short power outage. The draw is so low that it will run for hours when service power is down. If you run more equipment on these UPS, you need more battery capacity (larger VA) to carry the load until power is restored. They also protect the equipment from surges and brownouts. It's a must for sensitive electronic equipment!

If you need a small UPS for printers, modems and wireless routers this UPS should be on your list. I’ve owned APC UPS for as long as I can remember. This is a no frills UPS so don’t expect that it comes with the parachute software that will shut down your devices safely should the power outage takes longer than the UPS can provide.

Purchased two of these during the summer rainstorms in Florida where the lighting strikes occasionally knocked out the FPL power in the area causing my router and PC to be impacted. These eliminated the impact of the power glitches completely and also provided me with peace of mind that the product also had built-in surge protection. Best purchase I've made in a while.

I work at home and I don't want to lose my internet connection every time the power blips. My laptop will keep going but my cable modem and wi-fi router need some help. It looks like this will get me a couple of hours if necessary but I usually only need a few minutes, which is all I've tested to date. If I was plugging a desktop PC into it I'd look for something with more guts, but this is perfect for my need. Low price, good product for the money.

I purchased this battery backup for my wife who works from home and needs to ensure she has power to keep her computer system up and running. We haven't had many occations to rely on it one or two so far, our power grid has gotten better. but for those one or two occations the wife was able to continue working with no interuption until the power was restored that kept her two monitors and computer going as expected

returned this unit and bought a replacement battery for my current 625va unit from the same manufacturer. Not enough power to handle anything other than short relays from the power company and keep a modem and a light running. New battery was cheaper too

This inexpensive UPS does what it's supposed to do: while protecting my computer system from circuit-damaging, HDD-damaging and OS-damaging brownouts and blackouts, give me and my system a warning, plus a few minutes of spare time to save my work and shut it all down properly.

Battery backup that provides security and safety for my devices. Using this to keep my home and devices safe from hit and miss power in Texas. The uneven and unregulated flow of electricity during stormy season ion Texas is well known to those native Texans among us. If you want to save yourself major pain, this is the way to go.

We had a larger battery back up system that ended up failing to work correctly after several years of usage. I decided to get something that would take up less space this time around. This particular APC battery back up system is small enough to tuck away easily behind your monitor or computer. It's actually been tested out as we had a power outage the other week and it performed properly and allowed us to save and shut down easily while the power as out.

I got this just to keep some home automation hardware running during a power outage. Didn't need anything very powerful or fancy, so this was a great choice. The battery isn't replaceable but for the price, I figure you can replace the unit for about what a battery would cost. It does have options for sound notifications if there is a power outage. I didn't want this beeping if the power was out, so was being able to disable that was a nice feature for me.

Works well, the only thing that detracts at all is that none of these guys have yet figured out a configuration/arrangement of outlets that lets you plug in the large ac/dc adapter plugs that modems, routers, switches and such use...at the same time. Adjacent ports are always too close together in some direction. Added a power strip to mount the plugs that don't fit side-by-side and it's good, but it was another few dollars.

Products improve with time and this is no different. This UPS does more and cost less than the unit it replaced. With Best Buy online I was able to order and pick-up the same day instead of waiting for delivery. I could then replace the old one the same day it started it's annoying beeping to say it was in need of replacement.

I l9ve how it works. It helps keep things going when I need them most. I usenit for amsaltwayer fish aquariumn and it is a must to have it working at all times so this is a must have dir me glad.i dound out about it. He went in store next day to purchased APC- Back UPS work great in my offices. I would recommend this to friend if you have a lot things used with one plug.
