Haven't had this one long enough. Purchased it to replace one that the battery finally went dead. Later found out I could replace the battery in the old one. I did and am now using it instead of a strip power saver.

We wanted affordable battery backups for our Nest cameras and bought several of these at Best Buy, at a price WAY below what you can buy them for at any other online or local store. We like that the configuration of the plug ports leaves a lot of room for odd sized plugs. We need to buy one more. Recommended for low power electronics to keep things going when the power goes out.

This one is the newer design of the APC line and a different form factor. I like it mostly. Pros: smaller footprint still wall mounts USB charging port does not beep much on battery power Cons: Non-user replaceable battery only 2 surge only outlets I think the non replaceable battery is the biggest con. However, there is a video I saw on You-Tube that you can take the unit apart and replace the battery, but it is little bit of a pain and would most likely void your warranty. I plan to try to replace the battery myself when it dies, which should be outside the warranty anyway.

I wanted to protect a new UHD TV and other media related components and found this one on sale. I love the format because I have it on the floor behind the TV stand taking little toom and all outlets looking up. If you plan to connect wall transformers, you may want to buy some Cable Strip Outlet Savers (short extension cords) to save outlets. Never worry about a brownout interrupting your movie again.

I have the battery part hooked up to my internet modem and home phone. This is just in case of a blackout We can still use our phones and laptops during the blackout with two hours of internet and if our phones die and we need to call for emergency well the phone still works. Gonna buy another one they go on sale again. I need it for my new desktop computer.

This battery backup unit is great for what I wanted. I purchased 3 units and have installed them on my internet router, and two tvs that are hooked to satellite dish systems. We have a generator and wanted a small unit at each point (listed above) to keep the power to each item until our generator turned on. Have not experienced a power outage yet, but they should work great.

If you buy your phone service through your cable vendor, your phone doesn't work when the power goes off. This APC backup is lower cost than the optional battery for your cable vendor's internet box, plus you can backup your wireless phone at the same time, plus you can use the surge protector outlets for other electronics close by. Pretty much a no-brainer to choose APC.

So far, so good. I bought this UPS to protect my computers from power surges and brown-outs. As far as I know, none of those have occurred since I connected them to the UPS. I realize the batter is small, but I don't need to power devices for a long time. Just long enough to shut them down gracefully.

Compact UPS that keeps small electronics safe and running. I use these for Internet modem and gateway. My area was having a number of quick electric service flickers. These units have eliminated the added delay of waiting for my internet connection to reset after a flicker. Have not had any issues with run time as most of the electric service interruptions are 5 min or less. Easy to turn off alarms via connection to PC. Small enough to hide on a counter or under a desk

I bought 2 of these back in 2018, and have had continuous use since then. We've had power flickers on several occasions with no interruption to connected devices which includes a TV, a video game console and a router/modem. I am buying another one for our another TV and cable box.

Got an amazing deal for this last year and so far this battery has been operating great for the last year. Had a short power outage where I tested it and found no issues, The size is also extremely convenient to move around. Though beware the battery will probably only power your routers and modems, but don't expect it to power a PC or laptop for very long.

I am quite pleased with the product. I get periodic power outages in my neighborhood. Although the outages are often short, they would often cause my modem to shut down and I would be required to reset the modem when the power was restored. Now this no longer happens. It is really easy to install and use.

My daughter works from home using the internet for data and phone contacts. We were having problems with electrical flash off then on again. This resulted in the router needing to go through it's reset procedure. The PC continued uninterrupted. Now we are using the APC - Back-ups 450va Battery Back-up System and we have had no further interruptions. A really great and solid, quiet product..

i purchased this for a client. Several years ago, some of my clients got burned because i didn't protect their PCs with UPSes. A storm came through and fried several computers. So now I require a UPS for every PC/laptop before I will agree to service them. Otherwise, i will not warranty my work. My clients have all been much happier since. APC is the best in my opinion!

Best Battery Backup and surge protector for the money. If you don't need more than a handful of plugs to keep your devices running, this is a no-brainer. I use it for my desktop computer and monitors. APC makes great quality products have been using them for more than a decade.

I bought this battery backup to use with my home alarm central hub and indoor camera from Simplisafe. Easy to use as you just plug it and the battery charged when necessary. Last week we had a power outage lasting close to an hour and the battery backup took over and kept the charge until power was restored. Satisfied with my purchase.

reliable brand, not just good for backup power but really their best attribute is voltage stabilizing during brownouts and other fluctuations that can harm sensitive electronics. for very low wattage consumption devices this model can up to about 2 hours, but typical uses would make 5 to 15 minutes more likely for most users.

This is a relatively small unit so will fit most anyplace. Worked immediately. The only setup was moving and plugging in a battery jumper That jumper sticks out further than the bottom of the unit so unit will not sit flat on floor. Set unit on a carpet in a corner under your desk and you do not notice this. It would be nice if the battery were replaceable but the cost of the UPS is about the same as that of a new battery for my old unit, so that's a wash. When it quits just buy a new one at a probably lower price as prices keep coming down for UPSs.

I bought this to protect my home theater system. I have lost power in my home twice since installing it and it worked perfectly both times allowing me to shut down everything instead of everything just losing power.

This is my fourth APC battery back-up. This unit is compact, and the price was $40, on sale. I still have extra sockets, as I also use separate surge protectors for non-critical or hi-current peripherals, such as the laser printer. Battery is non-replaceable in this unit, but batteries haven't been cheap, and the BU units do fail after a few years of regular use.
