I got this UPS on sale. I had one a while back. I was tired of losing my internet connection whenever the power blinked off. I tested it on my own by unplugging it. My computer, modem, and monitors where still on without a problem. Then, literally the next day the power shorted out in my house for a few seconds and all of my computer stuff stayed on. This is a must have.

Very easy to use and install. Not the best for battery life but at least keeps the machine safe from powerr surges

I initially got this battery backup for my security camera system but loved it so much that I purchased another one to plug in my router and laptop. I have a generator that I can start once the power goes out but I've always worried about the initial surges and first loss of power; now with this I no longer worry about it. Easy to set up too!

i have been buying and using ups/battery back ups for years. the latest models from apc are great. they have a new design as well as a feature that mutes the high-pitched alarm when/if you lose electricity. Although i didn't need another ups at this time, best buy's thanksgiving deal was too good to ignore, so i picked up a "backup" backup.

After losing my 5-year-old printer to a power blip in my home, I decided I needed to add a UPS for protection. So I purchased this UPS along with a new printer. I'd recently purchased a new electronic sewing/embroidery machine and didn't want to fry it's brains too, so my new UPS is taking care of more than just my printer. .

Years ago I had lightning zap some computer equipment and damaged my system. At the time I was using an APC battery backup from APC. I made a claim and was back up an running very soon after with new equipment and a new backup unit.. So from that point on I have always used the APC units over all other..

I bought this during a thunderstorm because I worked from home at the time for an internet media company. It wound up being unnecessary until four months later when i was working on a time sensitive project and the power went out, allowing me to finish, save and turn in the project with time to spare.

I bought the APC back-ups for my laptop. It has six total outlets: two surge and four battery/surge. It's an upright model, so it can fit in smaller spaces if required. It's also lightweight; I can palm it in one hand with no problem. I've been using it daily for over two weeks now without any issues.

Easy Setup. Haven't had a power outage to test the amount of run time though. Have a larger one for many years that my TV is hooked up to and gave me a couple of hours of run time during a power outage. Battery was easy to replace as well when it needed it. APC has always been a good brand for me.

Needed a new back-up power supply in the office. I have purchased this 1 before and it does great as well as a slimmer profile to take less space up than previous models. Happened to order during black Friday week so ended up getting 2 for what 1 usually cost and we have an extra in office now.

I use this in a nonconventional way. I use it with a power inverter in my vehicle for work to power my laptop without interruptions. My vehicle often cycles to a lower voltage and causes my inverter to power off temporarily which would interrupt what I use it for. This solves all my issues!

I live in the country and power sometimes fluctuates. My fiber internet has a similar unit but for in the house I needed something to keep my router and voip from dropping and these work perfect. Ordered several. Every computer and tv are on one and even my cpap because ya never know!

Checked reviews - all were positive. Have always used APC Back-ups. This product was well worth the money - and on sale at half-price. So I bought 2 online and went to the store for pick-up. Staff was courteous and quick. I was in and out of the store in only 10 mins. Love that Best Buy.

Still will keeping my router and switch up. Will give you some time in case of a surge may want one as well for modem too.

Does what the description says. This is a small UPS to be used to provide backup to a cable modem, router, phone/tablet charger and other low wattage devices. I woiuldn't use it on a computer as this UPS doesn't have the capacity to keep the computer up for an extended period of time.

APC battery back up/power surge is a great product and the price point on this product is a great value. I used this in an office setting, replacing a product that was worn out. Very easy to install and have experienced no problems with it since installing on a desktop application.

Everyone should use these for computers, network equipment and even AV equipment. Better than just a surge protector, it protects aganst brownouts too. You can connect via USB and shut a computer down cleanly in the event power stays off for any length of time.

So far I have no complaints. I'm using this for my entertainment center since there are occasional power outtages in my area, which led me to invest in multiple units. This keeps my TV, receiver and Nvidia Shield from shutting down during brief interruptions.

Though I got it at a discounted price for the Black Friday sale, I can't say I am too happy knowing that the unit tripped and couldn't support a flat iron, my computer, and a small heating unit. I was considering returning it but thought it would be useful for protection with my PS4. Initially it was intended for supporting my gaming computer rig but that proved not useful. I am currently living in an older home, built in the 1920's so there is only one electrical socket in our room. Long story short is, it's a good looking, easy to use, and was extremely budget friendly at the time of purchase. Only downfall is, it's not necessarily doing the original job I hoped it would. Ended up purchasing a 900V unit as well to replace it (for much more money). There are a lot of variables in my particular circumstance. This is not a review to do anything but provide an honest opinion of my experience with this product. In the end, I am keeping the unit and not refunding it, therefore I am giving it 3 stars. This would likely only work with devices that require less energy usage/consumption. I have yet to reinstall the device.

I have bought many in the past and really like this one. Simpler set up than the past. Easier to connect battery now and option to turn sound off is easy.
