Bought this battery backup to use for my satellite dvr unit when there are power surges. Works perfectly. If the power flickers for a few seconds, I do not have to wait for the system to reboot which can take upwards of 15 minutes. I have a larger one for my internet router which keeps me connected for hours.

After discovering wiring issues with my 40 year old condo, pick up these and hooked them to handle the load until the rewiring job. 2 of them, one for tv and sound system and the other for my desktop PC equipment. great purchase and they have already paid off in just a short period of time.

This APC back-up is more compact in size than the old one it replaces. The old one was too large to fit behind a desk, but this one is taller and more slender, making it easy to place behind the desk. Seems to work just as well as the old one, though I did lose a small amount of capacity when switching to this unit.

This battery backup has a great feature that keeps it silent upon power failure until the battery is nearly dead. Perfect for a bedroom!

Recent power failure the battery backup did not miss a beat kept television on. Unplug to not utilize backup battery not knowing how long blackout would last. The new television backup battery saves settings and no problem when power came back on two hours latter. Happy I was advised on this type of surge protection.

My wife & i work from home. A month ago, power went out in our apartment and because of that, we had to wait until power came back before going back to work. With the APC - Back-UPS 450VA Battery Back-Up System, we can continue to work if there is another power outage. These came at a great price and will be good for a long time.

I purchased this for my entertainment center, especially for the DirecTV receiver. Every time the is a power surge or glitch the DirecTV receiver reboots and takes several minutes to come back online. This unit prevents that annoyance and saves the equipment from damage. I also have one for my internet modem for the same reason.

I have one for my core internet firewall and switch, and another for my ONT. I no longer worry about brownouts and such as it keeps everything running with clean power. The APC is a bit pricier than it’s competitors but I don’t have issues, and that’s worth the extra coin.

This was a purchase solely to plug into the wall where the router and modem live. The device is great at keeping power supplied when an outage happens and all I have to do is reset the breaker. Recommend for using in the same scenario for helping keeping consistent internet connections!

I'm using this small 450 unit to protect and keep a switch and wireless AP online during small power blips and short outages. Seems to do the job just fine thus far, no issues and we have had about 58 recorded power issues so far. Keep your network online, protect your router, modem, or wireless.

I bought this around hurricane Irma to use other then a generator and it works but only for smaller electronics like phones but any thing bigger will only work for an hour

I made the mistake of buying CyberPower once because it was on sale, but APC has never let me down. The long cord with flat plug enables it to be placed nearly anywhere. Great value for the price and is more than enough to protect a decent home PC. The only drawback to this model is that the outlets could use a bit more space between them to accommodate some of the larger power bricks/transformers.

This unit is almost everything i needed in a UPS system. The only other item that would be nice to have would be the software that comes with more expensive unit. I actually bought 2 of these units and they have already saved me with a recent power outage in the area. This unit is simple to install and I love that it is fairly small.

Does exactly what you need it to do-keeps power on electronics when main power isn't available. There is a built in breaker switch that gives confidence it is fully interrupting power when there are surges. I have had this happen in storms a few times.

I've been using APC's forever. They just work, always. If you have anything electronic that is even remotely expensive, get it on an APC. It will save your devices. The new long design makes them easier to keep out of the way and take up less space. Grab them when they go on sale, because it's rare.

These are better then the Belkin ones you can get. I have gone through half a dozen belkin protectors over 3 years. This is the 3 battery backup I've bought and still no issues. The only downfall is the battery time. I believe it is 15mins max. It gives you enough time to backup or save what your doing. Overall happy with purchase.

I have this tucked away in the garage to provide backup to a Verizon ONT box. So far it’s performed admirably during power outage. I can’t really say how long they’ll last since most of my outages have been brief but so far they’ve provided exactly what I needed.

I have used APC UPS products for more than 20 years. This UPS model is perfect to provide protection to televisions and accessories. I have my wife's computer and my son's Xbox One X using these devices. They are both seeing better performance of their equipment after the UPS's were installed. Highly recommend.

I've had this for almost a year now and so far I haven't had any issues with it. It's saved my desktop computer from turning off serveral times now when the power has chipped out for a few seconds or minutes. I may buy a bigger one with a higher voltage for my computer and switch this one to my tv and wi-fi modem.

Even though most of the power plugs nowdays are thick and eat up a lot of real estate in your power strip, this UPS has plenty space to accomodate all 6 outlets without interference with each other. It works very well and the design blends in perfectly with the rest of the furniture.
