I've had this for almost a year now and so far I haven't had any issues with it. It's saved my desktop computer from turning off serveral times now when the power has chipped out for a few seconds or minutes. I may buy a bigger one with a higher voltage for my computer and switch this one to my tv and wi-fi modem.

i have two of these, great product, use it to plug in my mini mac and router and modem and computer screen, that way my wifi never goes down even when i don't have electricity, it will at least give me about an hour after if i don't use the computer and just be on wifi mode

I bought this and installed it as surge protection for my Smart refrigerator. My appliances are way too expensive for me to not have done this sooner and it is a good idea to surge protect your appliances since some insurance companies will not cover it unless it is surge protected.

I have used other brands for my UPS needs and now only use APC. I bought several of these for our office. We have the computer and other office electronics connected to this for protection and uninterrupted power. We are located in a rural area and have issues with power flickering on and off. This takes care of the problem.

We live in the mountains and we have a lot of electric surges, so we had purchased one of these for our satellite TV box as well as my computer and they both work great! Now with my computer I can safely keep working even with electrical surges and with power outage I can safely shut down computer.

I already had a back up battery by APC but the actual battery inside was dead ( had it for years & it had sat for a long time unused). I would have just ordered a replacement via Amazon but it would have taken too long, as I needed it ASAP. This unit was a good price & suited my needs.

this is the 3rd unit I purchased now - when the lights ''flicker'' at my weekend home (in the rural woods) everything stays on without the need to re-set --- the TV - the DESK-TOP COMPUTER - the PHONE - the MODEM - the AQUARIUM FILTER - (well ...you get the idea) --- today - this is a MUST HAVE item!

This is not for keeping all your electronics running forever but at my home we see a lot of power flashes. This is great to keep a TV, cable box/sat receiver, blue ray player etc. from going out when power goes out for a second or two to a couple minutes. Avoids stress on electronics. Love it!!

Not long battery life with the small size but great for protecting a few electronics for the brief power glitches we experience. I have a couple of these in the house and they handle the little drops we get before the generator kicks on. Good price for the size.

Worked perfectly! During a summer lightning, thunder storm, we lost power. TV, cable, and laptops stayed on because the battery backup was on and kicked into action. No loss of capability for news, shows, and games during outage. Additionally, we were able to plug in our cellphones to recharge.

I have this thing hooked up to my ONT (fiber cable coming in for internet), and haven't had an issue. I have bigger battery backup systems for servers/computers around the house, but this thing hasn't interrupted the power at all through a few power outages. I've bought 2 since!

Bought this before a storm that was predicted to lose power for a few days. In case we had to use the generator I wanted to protect my wifes table top computer sio this seemed to be the right product at the right price. Didn't lose power so will update when I get a chance to try it out.

have been buying apc baterry backups for years. new design is great and got a good price here at best buy. nice feature over older backups, alarm is silent when electricity goes off and doesn't start beeping until the battery is almost out of energy.

Bought after older version of the 450 died due to a lightening strike. APC has always been dependable. Plug in and forget about it. Holds a computer, modem, 22" monitor and Wi-Fi up for about 10 minutes, which is long enough for the power to come back on (usually the case) or to shut the system down properly.

3 days after I received and set it up, I had multiple quick power outages Everything that was plugged in continued to operate correctly. Just 1 week before, a similar event had happened and the tuner was burnt out It saved me over $500.]

We get a lot of power outages during the winter, and of course, they're always unexpected. I use this one to power my internet box, because as long as than has power, the internet should work since most companies have their outlets on generators.

What is there to say? We bought it before the last major snow fall and sure enough, lost power. The unit charged quickly and prevented our computer from shutting down during the outage. We shut the computer down ourselves and used it to power the modem/router so our gear could connect through wifi.

Great basic UPS for low energy computers. Has successfully kept my computer running despite a power outage on more than one occasion. The amount of power it stores was more than enough time to safely power off the system.

I bought this to power a Mac Mini that kept getting shut off in the event of a power outage. Where I live, they don’t last longer than 30 minutes or so. This solves that problem. Although, if I was smart I would have bought one of these a long time ago. I hope my Mini can survive my laziness.

I’m very happy with the product. Out of the box. It took about a full minute to charge the battery and have the unit supply power but after that it worked. I wanted surge suppression and battery backup for a desktop computer. This will give me time to close apps and save work if the power goes out.
