For the price I figured it wouldn’t hurt to use these to protect my smart tv’s. Most new Tv’s use very little electricity and in the event of a power outage it protects the tv as well as any spikes in voltage. Totally worth the money.

I am buying all APC now, they just last longer and offer replacement batteries (something their competitor does not). This particular model is my first with the upright profile. A smaller footprint, great for under a desk or against the wall. It performs as expected.

This has four battery back up protected plugs and two surge protected plugs. I love that it can hang on the end of my credenza to make it easy to reach. I have had the power go out and it works good for a few minutes....never had to shut things down.

Have purchased 5 of these for different locations. The oldest purchased 3 years ago still going strong. Never fails and always delivers during frequent outages. Basic system that is simple to set up and use and not expensive compared to other options.

This is my 4th APC backup. All the others still work great. My other three are connected to computers or peripherals. I purchased this one for our TV since the other three have worked so well during power outages for the computers, I figure this should work great for protecting the TV too.

APC is a brand you can trust. I have been using APC battery back-up/surge protectors since I took my business into the computer age back in the day. Best Buy lives true to its name. After pricing the 450VA, Best Buy was in fact, the "best buy".

Needed a battery backup for my wired Ring Cameras. I installed the battery backup in the garage & have routed the wires from the Ring Cameras through the attic. Purchased it on sale & was a great price. I own several APC Battery Backups so it’s a trusted name.

i install these in my local offices, they work much better than the cheaper ones i can get online like the tripplites. i prefer these, just don't forget to put in the fuse!

For our purposes, this is perfect. Needed a small unit for new Dell All-in-One and Epson Printer. Fits in small space, provides backup power and surge protection. I've own larger ones, but this really fits our needs

I actually got my modem dead due to surge during lightning strike. But this UPS actually did save my Mac and so I got another for my TV and it’s definitely worth the price as it’s anyway better than an average spike buster. Expensive equipments need this at home.

I needed a new surge protector and recently purchased a new MacBook Pro, printer and shredder so I figured why not get a battery backup at the same time. This unit provided just as much protection as a Monster unit twice the price and the batter backup is a bonus.

I needed a UPS for a computer in an outbuilding. This UPS was priced right. But at this price your going to be missing a few options. No communication port. It does not report anything to the computer, no up-time warning. It has no network protection. This is a UPS and only a UPS. Make sure you look at what you need to see if this will do. For me it was good enough. I would have liked more functionality but I didn't need it.

I have used APC backup power solutions for years - at work and home. This APC unit is compact and provides reliable power for small electronics for over an hour. I am currently using this APC UPS to keep my cable modem, wireless router, and hubs up and running during power outages.

Older battery backup battery gave out after 8 years. Replacement battery would have cost about same as this unit that was on sale. Might as well get a new unit with up to date circuitry. Never have had a problem with an APC unit and they stand behind their warranties and policies.

Great product! Set the system up and 2 days later, power went out due to a storm! Worked fantastic! The power came back on about 20 minutes later, but I was able to have lights and charge my cell during that time. I bought another one for other room. I recommend this completely!

This unit's size and capacity are perfect for my needs. The unit was incredibly easy to set up and put to work. I am both glad that the unit is working for me and that I made this purchase.

Protecting my computer against sudden power outages, where I live that is pretty often. Gives me time to shut down my computer without data loss. It will protect several units at one time. Really feel more comfortable about my computer now !

I just needed a simple UPS that would protect my entertainment system and keep the equipment up until I could shut it down. Oh, and I wanted something that would fit neatly on the floor between the console and the wall. This puppy more than satisfied all my requirements.

Got this to backup cable modem and wireless router. Now, whenever we have a power outage, I can use any tablet to surf the internet (in the dark, LOL) to check on weather, etc
