Reasonably priced. Our area is prone to power surges and really affects our internet router. We have changed 2 this year only. Bought this one and has not had any issues then. Nicely sized as well, not obtrusive.

I was amazed at the lightness of this UPS. I originally purchased an APC UPS unit 6 years ago, and it weighed a lot more. This one is easy to carry and easy to find space for. I like the idea that we can silence the alarm with one touch of a button. Haven't needed to do so yet.

Use it for a small tv and small fridge and work great so far, no problems issues found so far, this is just for a peace of mind, but have all my electronics devices on some UPS.

I had never heard of a battery backup system before a 5 second power outage totally destroyed the hard drive in my desktop. My neighbor told me how the battery backup would have prevented this from happening. Small price to pay to prevent losing everything on your hard drive.

Due to frequent thunderstorms in Georgia and the power that can go out much too often even if for only a few seconds these UPC devices have made my life much happier. No the devices kick on immediately and my satellite dish and internet continues to work just fine.

Bought three of these on a deal of the day. Exactly what I needed to avoid shut down of modem, cable box and pc during a power flicker. we get a couple a day of here. Avoids having to wait for reboots and avoids loosing my work. Very please especially at the sale price point.

For my son's computer this is perfect. We live in an area that experiences short to long term power outages when there are storms. This unit keeps the computer powered while the backup generator starts. So it's modest capacity fits the need perfectly.

My ONLY complaint is it does have have a gauge display to tell how low the battery is getting. I wish it came with a table that shows “run-times” for various applications. I got it to use with A/C powered animated props when you don’t have a nearby outlet. It took a lot of testing to determine how long it would power different props. That said, it is VERY handy, COMPACT & easy to use. And I like that it is black.

Battery back-up does the job. Has enough power to get multiple items powered while you have time to save or shut down. If you just have surges or quick power outages then you dont even know that the power is lost with these.

Great little low power backup for low power devices. Has kept me on-line a few times during power outages and protected against some intense lightning storms. Still working also. Have a graveyard of other brand UPS. APC has been the most reliable so far.

We keep losing power for no reason it seems and when that happens my Wi-Fi goes out, therefore the phones don't work. Since I have an elderly person in the house with medical problems, it's important to have landline working. I read the reviews on the APC, talked to the rep and all recommended this unit. So far so good...no major outage yet, but hoping it will stand up to the raves. Easy to set up too and can wall mount.

I was looking for a back up unit for my Ooma phone service that only required a small amount of back up for limited amount of time. After looking about, I decided this might be the best choice. After going into the local Best Buy and reading some further details I made the purchase and have been happy with the set up that will assure continued operation during storm or other power outages. Very compact and does not take up very much space.

I have one of these on each of my TV's and computers. Plug it in and forget it. Protects against spikes if power goes on and off repeatedly during storms. Will also give you time to gently save all your work and shut done your computer if there is an actual outage.

I'm using this to protect parts of my home stereo that are always on - the DAC, phono preamp, and the DVD player (in standby mode). The APC protects these if the power bounces on and off when power outages start and when they are rectified.

So far it works ok. Can't really tell much. Haven't had it long. We have a lot of power surges in the rural area where we live. The real test is whether it will work for what I need during a power outage. But hope that doesn't happen either.

I purchased this as a backup battery for my fairly expensive sewing machine. I already had one for my long arm machine and have not had any issues. It's good peace of mind to know that a surge will not take out the computerized components of my machines.

Set-up was nothing more than plugging in the devices I wanted to protect, then flipping on the switch. One brief power outage gave it the opportunity to show that it worked, and it did, without any interruption to the devices plugged into the unit. Definitely a good buy.

I purchased this APC battery back up for a basement dehumidifier. When power blinks due to summer thunderstorms, the dehumidifier shuts off automatically. Having the APC back up provides peace of mind for keeping the basement dry even when we are traveling.

Works good. I purchased them to avoid having the computer turn off at midnight during storms. So far can not complain. I bough two, one for my mac mini and the other for my router and modem. That way if the light goes out the connection will still available.

I bought this to keep my cable box and electronics from shutting off every time the power goes out at my house - which is quite frequently. It's small so it fits behind my TV stand and has just enough plugs for my stuff. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase.
