I purchased this in order to provide a bit of protection for my networking equipment in case of power surges, and outages. The unit comes with a 3-year warranty and runs for almost an hour once power has been lost, giving me a bit more life from my cable modem during an outage.

Was looking to add battery backups to some equipment. Have used APC backups for many years. Was excited that they now have an upright style rather than the flat style from previous purchases. They are in place and working great. Would highly recommend this battery backup.

Already had APC UPS for hard drive and one for modem, each in separate rooms. Needed APC in family room for lights and other low-draw items when power is interrupted during severe storms - so pets would not freak out. This fits the bill and then some.

I wanted a replacement for a backup that had just failed. Only needed a few minutes of run time. This one fit the bill. It's smaller than the old one which is a plus. I haven't tried it yet too see how long it would last. Hopefully a few minutes.

I have had this power supply for about 1 month. We have frequent thunderstorms here in Wisconsin. Power surges and 1 brief power outage were no problem for this APC Battery Back Up. I am pleased with its performance so far. If it is durable, I'll be extremely pleased.

APC has a great reputation in battery back-up/surge protector units. I own several APC surge protectors in my residence and they perform very well and last a long time. Living in the lighting capital of the world APC provides me the protection I need for my electronics.

I have been buying APC battery backups for the past 15 years and never been disappointed. I bought my current APC to protect my TV and other connecting devices. There is nothing like knowing your electronic equipment is protected from electrical surges.

I haven't had any particular issue with this model. It over-delivers on power delivery while on battery, which is quite nice. Knocking down ease of use, using the power button is completely unintuitive.

We buy these all the time. Not only great for it's typical use, but if you need to put something behind behind a UPS that might have bad power, and possibly outdoors - thing things fit in a 12x12 plastic box you can get from Lowes or Home Depot.

This Back up system is built at a very high quality, I have with my I mac and feeling confident with it. No variation in voltage excellent performance at an amazing price, waiting to by another to use in my living room, and it is space saver.

Having lost everything on my hard drive due to a two second power outage, I was informed by my neighbor about battery backup devices to help prevent this. I had never heard of this before. For a very low cost, I now have peace of mind that this won't happen again.

I choose this APC battery back up unit because I have used this brand for many years and have found them to very reliable. I was going to replace the battery in my older APC unit, but this unit proved to less i price than replacing the batter in the old unit.

Good price, I like the extra spacing on the 1st four outlets. According to the directions you can finally mute the No AC alarm, it took a couple of tries and I have yet to lose power so, we will see.

I bought this to keep power to my Dish TV receiver. I travel a lot and use Dish for TV service. Recently I was in an area where setup was difficult and we lost power several times meaning I had to go through the setup repeatedly. I added the UPS and when the power went out I did loose TV but the settings were retained so as soon as electricity was restored I went back to watching television. Saved me a lot of frustration

It does what it’s supposed to do! Hard to ask for more than that. When the power goes out, it keeps the pc plugged into it running for a bit. If I were to guess, I’d say 10 or 12 minutes. Long enough that I can power it down gently.

APC has been providing quality backup power supplies for many years and continues to offer a wide range of price points. This model is good for a typical modern desktop with one or two monitors. You also get good surge protect.

This unit is perfect for a computer and two displays. I work in a building with constant power anomalies and when the power goes out this unit keeps my compuer and monitors going so that I close up my programs nicely and then shutdown my computer.
