This is a solid product and I like it's slim profile. It not bulky and heavy to carry around. Offers plenty of plugs for larger block transformers and smaller plugs.

I bought this for my daughter at college as a surge suppressor and gives her a few time to back up your computer before power goes out. It has worked great so far .

The backup power on this is solid and consistent. Allow the battery to charge up then unplug it to test its consistency for power. I have a laptop, router, and a WD my cloud connected to it. Lasts for almost an hour on backup power. Longer times will require a larger model.

I purchased two of these units to keep my WiFi and home automation up and running when the power goes out. So far they have worked well but only time will tell.

APC is highly regarded maker of UPS battery back-up systems. This unit is one of their smaller ones, but is only being used to protect my work laptop and monitors. This is probably the 10th APC unit I have owned as I find they work well and are priced reasonably.

APC is lightweight, so it can be placed pretty much anywhere. It has an adequate number of plug-in’s available in the way the plug-in’s are placed and how they face on the APC makes it very easy to change cords and adapters in an out. I think this is a great feature because sometimes these APCs have their plugs placed in such a manner that makes it rather difficult to change a plug, if you’re changing equipment or something out. Being a 450 be a battery is probably not good for heavy use. However, for the setup of what a laptop and a monitor and standard printer, it would be more than adequate to give you enough time to shut down properly. I use my back up to power my route or modem and backup drives. In this role, it is an excellent, it will last through most power outages and allows you to continue to use the Internet and have access to your back at drives should be you be away from home and you have cloud capable backups such as the Western Digital my book series. The prices right you’re getting a good battery backup, that is, lightweight can be placed anywhere and will do the job, you need. With all that said remember it is a 450 VA I’ve seen a lot of people try to overuse these and obviously you need to pick the best battery backup for what you’re going to use it for.

I needed a device to power back up my home camera and home TV units so I bought 2 did a 5 minute test after 24 hours and they hold up as advertised.

This was a fare price and worked well. Received just before the hurricane and it protected the satilite receiver and tv from some nasty power surge.

I needed a basic and reliable UPS for my iMac at home. This device does not have any software integration to do a clean shutdown in the event of a power outage, but it does offer protection in the event of a power outage. For the price, it is a good deal.

I love this battery backup, but truly, it has not been tested against a similar lightning storm that took out my televisions on surge protectors.

I have purchased 2 over the last couple of years. First was to back up my FIOS terminal. Verizon no longer supports the original 8 hours of guaranteed back up time with the black motorcycle battery. If pushed they will provide a plastic box that holds 12 "D" batteries that does not automatically switch over on a power outage. My FIOS power circuitry to charge the orig battery burned out and they did not replace it. They haven't reduced my monthly bill with that missing support. I found that this UPS actually works better at a lower price than it would cost to periodically replace the original black battery in the FIOS package. I seems to do the job for short outages, don't know how it will hold up for a long outage. The second was to provide a power backup to the FIOS DVR receiver. That has always been a problem if the power went out. We record a lot of programs and if the power went out for a few minutes the unit does not fully reboot until you actually turn it on. If you are not home when the power goes off you can reboot it. The UPS seems to work well with that so far. So this basic UPS seems to be a reasonably priced product to support a device that you want to keep going during short outages.

This is the perfect solution for networking equipment in a small office. And you can't argue with the price. Great value, good price, buy it now!

This is a great item for protection of your computer or any other electronics, I really love it I don't worry about my electronics anymore.

Needed an UPS for router that didn't take up much real estate. This UPS had a small enough footprint. Does what it is designed to do.

I have tested and found no problems with the unit and keeps my router powered on and no interruptions . this is a recommend buy

Purchased in April, 2017 and used to provide backup power to home network equipment (router and switch) and a 3-disk home server (home built, i5 and later a Ryzen 5). This unit performed flawlessly over 3 years, seamlessly providing emergency power through lightning storms, brownouts and the usual summer complete power failure. As expected, after 3 years it's now complaining it can't hold a charge. Given that, I've now swapped in a new unit, the BE425M (the collection of equipment it services has shrunk, and with it our power requirements). I've got another 3 of these for computers and network devices (like our Google Fiber Jack) throughout the house. If they all last as long as this one did, I'll continue to be impressed.
