    It’s not particularly pretty, and won’t keep everything running for long, but it will keep the cable box and TV running for a short while through minor outages. Does what I wanted it to.

    Bought two of these units when they were on a great sale. They’re your basic UPS systems, no fancy interface or a lot of extras like a digital displays. But for a small computer and monitor setup, it gets the job done.

    This is at least the third unit we’ve had to provide backup and surge protection to various electronics. The batteries die after about 3-4 years, otherwise it’s a fine machine.
