    I have used these backup surge protectors since moving here. The person who checked me out also told me that you can buy replacement batteries if you don’t want to replace completely. I found them at the battery store. Bought the battery and had it installed then gave the old unit to the friend who went through calisthenics to replace the replacement under an almost unmovable desk.

    I'm using it for a starlink router. I don't know if there have been any power outages, but it seems fine. The important thing is that the cameras connected to the router haven't failed since I installed the UPS.

    The battery died after 3 years of use and is not replaceable. I suspect a battery replacement would cost the about same a whole new UPS. Great value and works as advertised .
