Good for having your internet router plugged to it, and also a surge protector.

Works well, easy plugins, weights less than my old APC, which I like.

Works as advertised. This back up was purchased to replace mt identical unit I purchased 5 years ago. I purchased this one to have a second UPS and bought a replacement battery for my old UPS. It "saved the day" on several occasions!

I use this to keep my router and modem up and running in neighboorhood where we have frequent outtages. I have a separate UPS for my computer. This keeps my home office running regarldess if the power companies inability to maintain a reliable power platform.

I needed a replacement for my old UPS, and this APC - Back-UPS 450VA was on sale. I was worried about its capacity -- can a small 450VA carries my desktop computer, and its monitor, speakers, a router and a printer? But after I plugged everything in, no problem. I did a few tests by intentionally cutting the power -- everything kept running. This is good enough to provide time for me shutting down everything when the real power outage comes.

I am giving this 5 stars in hopes that when our power goes out it will work like it says. We actually hooked this battery backup to our satellite DVR receiver as living in the mountains we get lots of power surges and outages. Sometimes the power surge is only for like a minute, but in the past each time this happened, our DVR would take about 20 minutes to boot back up and was very annoying, so hopefully this will resolve this problem.

Used as backup power and it worked as described. Used it with a CPAP machine. It lasted about 3 hours. That wasn't long enough, though. I will use for my network router instead and get a larger unit for the purpose.

Perfect Home Network (Gateweay, Router, Cable Modem) UPS. Currently using this for my UDM Pro, Verizon ONT and primary POE Switch (cameras and wifi AP's) for small power protection. My setup is under 200watts of power which should last a good 30mins on this UPS, enough time for a power flicker or for me to safely shut down the UDMPro (gateway and NVR) if home and power drops. Not intended for a computer, large network rack/homelab, this is JUST for smaller, low powered devices like a cable modem and wifi router, or desk with just a laptop and phone.

Got this to save the day when needed to keep my internet and smart devices running when the power goes out. So far so good!!

I wanted an inexpensive battery backup for my garage door opener. I had added a surge protector, but wanted to be able to open the garage door if power went out. I wasn't sure if this small battery backup would be enough to get the job done, but after a full charge and 6 rapid open/close cycles as a test, it did what I wanted. I don't know how long it would last under no power draw, but worth finding out.

If you work from home this is a must have. I bought one for my modem and one for my PC that has a 750 watt power supply. On the occasion that we have a power flicker this has saved me from losing internet and my PC doesn’t crash. Worth every penny! 100% recommend!

it is a nice an effective product. it avoid the modem/internet go out on those short blackouts that disrupt watching TV or navigation.

Unite works great but instructions were not clear as to the proper setup. Make sure to push the fuse in (underneath the unit) before you turn the unit on as it will make a continues noise indicating that the battery is low. Not a big deal but worth mentioning here.

APC is always known for IT power backup. I work from home since the Pandemic began and I I began noticing power surges that shut down and rebooted my router at very inconvenient times. I’m not experiencing that anymore!

Availability was great. Ordered and picked up a couple of hours laters. Easy to install. Peace of mind that I won't loose any documents in case of a power failure.

Been running for about a month and so far, so good. Even had a test when power went out for a few hrs during a wind storm couple weeks back. Unit runs cool to the touch compared to an old Tripp Lite that it replaces.

What can I say. I use this to be a battery backup to my cable modem so we still have internet during a power outage. It has such a low load the UPS last for hours. I plugged it in an mounted it on a stub. Plugged it in and have now forgotten about it because it WORKS. I realize in two years the battery will die and once again I will trash the unit, but for now it is perfect.
