We bought this mainly to have battery back up for our router and cell signal booster so that when the power goes out we can still use our phones. Seems to do the job. Lasts 2-3 hours.

I keep these on hand and have them on all my expensive items in my house to keep my things safer. This was an extra to have on hand if something happened to one of my others. Would not be with out it.

Purchased to to as a daily battery backup for my router, cable modem and switch. Very easy to setup. I like the new more taller design, helps to fit if narrower spaces. Has enough battery to deal with short power outages and helps with brown outs and surges.

I bought this to keep power to my Dish TV receiver. I travel a lot and use Dish for TV service. Recently I was in an area where setup was difficult and we lost power several times meaning I had to go through the setup repeatedly. I added the UPS and when the power went out I did loose TV but the settings were retained so as soon as electricity was restored I went back to watching television. Saved me a lot of frustration

I bought this to back up my desktop computer at work because we have terrible power and it was constantly tripping off causing the computer to be off when i try to remote to it. The UPS has been great and the computer has not shut off once since installing.

It works flawlessly with my U-verse router and DVR. For some reason, the power usually fluctuates in most of AT&T's equipment. I think that they get their hardware from the lowest bidder and with the most downtime. So I purchased this APC to save the day.

I bought this for my wifes new gas range. We get a lot of brown-outs in our area and the last range got damaged during one of these. So, I purchased this battery backup to plug the range into do that it doesn't get affected by such things in the future.

Why risk damaging your expensive tech equipment. With all the electrical grid issues in CA, only makes sense to protect your investment. 5 ports make it very convenient.

Bought it as a UPS for a LAN device setup in my cellar to remotely control my boiler and my heating oil tank guage device with my smartphone. Easy setup, appropriate performance level, reasonably priced and APC quality to boot.

This is my first Back-Up Battery and all I could say it's worth the price and it does an outstanding job at what it does best! If you're looking for an economic yet superb battery this is the one. Hasn't let me down.

I do like the fact that the new form factor is smaller than the previous shoebox sized UPS that it replaced. Only drawback is the outlets are a bit closer together and there is one less outlet than the previous shoebox UPS this replaced so I had to do some adjustment to get everything plugged back in. It is also lighter than the previous one (smaller battery? hopefully the same runtime).

Had lots of issues with brown outs and power outages. Really hard on computers and other equipment. This gets you enough time to shut down critical devices. Really beneficial device.

Just set this up and the for factor is great. I love that it has a flat plug for the wall. Not sure how well it works yet as my power has not gone off but I’m sure it will work just fine like all APC products have in the past.

Bought this for my church, to protect new desktop, three building got hit by lighting, and cried the last computer, since the purchase of this sure protector, the building got hit again and no issues.

We often have power surges or power "blinks" in the summer from storms not that close to us. With the backup system I don't even notice them--on my router or my desktop computer--saving me from worrying about lost work on Word or Excel documents.

I live in Florida, and the afternoon storms sometimes cause power surges and outages. I recently purchased an iMac and have it plugged into this as well as my printer. Don’t hesitate to purchase it, specially if it’s on sale.

I got this on sale to replace an older unit. The only problem is that there are fewer outlets, but since it had a smaller capacity, I expected that. There were just enough to be fully utilized and then tucked out of the way.
