Owned one of the larger products from this same manufacturer and was already sold on their products. This device was on sale and I was looking for another smaller model for my wife’s Computer. No issues.

purchase was fast and shipping was quick too. Needed battery back to protect computers from sags and short outages. I was also great that these could be shipped to my other office location direct.

Wanted a basic battery backup for some simple devices. I use this in my media closet. Have an xfinity dvr, network switch, and Roku box connected to this APC battery backup. I need a unit that accepts a 3 prong AC plug.

I bought this for my snake's enclosure so I know in case of a power outage his tank is still on, and it works perfect. Does exactly what I need it to do.

I use this UPS as a backup for a FIOS ONT and a Sprint Magic Box. It was easily mounted on the wall in my HVAC room and has worked fine for the past year. If you're looking for a smaller UPS than this is a good one.

Bought this unit to back up a TV along with a home theater PC. No frills; it has worked through several short power interruptions. Only complaint is that it has no real status indications; you pretty much just plug things into it and take it on faith that it's going to bridge the gap. Theoretically it gives you plenty of time to gracefully shut everything down.

Using the UPS for my Security Camera system. Have two other APC UPS for laptop and desktop computer configurations. Used APC UPS in business settings as well. APC knows how to protect you from power interruptions.

This device was perfect during the TEXAS winter storm so I bought more. Allows you to have additional power for 30+ minutes after an outage for those last minute items

When it comes to UPS systems, NO ONE makes em like APC. This new smaller package offers a great price for performance. And APC always stands behind their products with great replacement and service warranties! Cant go wrong with this UPS!

IMHO, a UPS is a required item for any station where I am connecting computers or other home/office electronic equipment. I insist on these for myself and my clients, and grab a couple whenever I see then on sale.

We have had a couple instances that caused our computer to loose power. We need access to this computer remotely so this UPS system was the answer. It’s protecting our equipment and keeping us online.

I have had numerous battery back up systems from APC and find them to be very reliable. I bought this item mainly because my battery in my old unit finally failed, and the cost of the battery is just short of the cost of a whole new unit.

I live in a house that for whatever reason, experiences frequent momentary black outs. Meaning the power goes off for just a split second and then comes back on. It hasn't caused any real problems yet other than annoyances, but I always fear extended blackouts. So I'm a big proponent of battery backups. I have one for my entertainment center and primary desktop (which I use for work). They've come in handy many of times. Not to allow me to continue playing games or continue working, but it gives me confidence that I won’t lose data or get a corrupted hard drive, etc. I have to mention, when my power goes out, my first concern is not making sure I have internet. I'm more concerned about my refrigerator. I'm sure you might feel the same. But it's those quick power outages that disrupt everything, especially in smart homes. When my internet goes out and then comes back on, my Phillips HUE smart bulbs in my house ALL turn on. In the middle of the night it’s annoying (a first world problem for sure). That's why I find this APC battery backup to be beneficial. Previously I didn't have my modem plugged into my battery backup. With the setup of my house and where I placed my modem (in the middle of my house on the first floor) I prioritized my other devices first. But this APC device seemed like a good fit for my setup. It was relatively small (if you don't already know, battery backup/surge protectors are MUCH larger than your standard surge protector. This APC battery has a total of 6 outlets, adequately spaced out so you can plug in the biggest AC adapter and not worry about blocking one of them. All 6 are surge protected, but only 4 utilize the built in battery. When you set it up, there's a big sticker showing you how to activate the battery. You simply pull out a piece of plastic with two metal conductors attached to it, and slide it in until it clicks. Then you plug it into the wall, hit the power button and you are good to go. There’s no display (some other models show the voltage and battery level). You basically don’t have to do anything until the battery itself goes bad and no longer holds a charge. For me, the only complaint was the lack of ports. I say this because there's sooooo much space between the outlets. I'm sure there's a valid reason for it (maybe the size of AC bricks?). But this “complaint” might not affect others depending on your setup and for me, it isn’t really an issue, it just means I have two power strips (in other words, it doesn’t replace my old one, just frees some of those ports up). Where my modem is, I have a Network Attached Storage unit, Phillips Hue hub, Arlo camera hub, TV, Blu Ray Player, TV, Soundbar, Google Chromecast, Nintendo Switch and smaller amplifier (that powers outdoor speakers). So the APC doesn’t have enough ports for my particular setup, it’s not as if the modem is the only thing plugged in. BUT, I can plug in all my network devices which is honestly, what really matters. As I said, momentarily power flickers might turn my TV off, but at least the internet is running, so if all I have to do is turn the TV back on and I’m good. For longer power outages I’m not really concerned about watching TV, but when it does come back on (hopefully within the time period of the battery life) then everything is still connected and there were no disruptions. And frankly, so long as my NAS stays powered, I’m okay. I luckily haven’t had any power outages since I’ve had it, but I have other APC products and they’ve worked great. This particular model is rated for 2.3 hours of battery run time, BUT KNOW that the more stuff you have plugged in and drawing power, the less overall battery time you have. So if you have a TV, Chromecast (or the like) and your modem plugged in, you won’t necessarily get 2.3 hours of TV watch time. But hopefully if you have a power outage (not caused by severe weather which might knock it out for a long time) that’s more than ample time to get the power back on. At the end of the day, APC battery backups (all of their models) are extremely useful in keeping our ever growing connected world connected in all scenarios. Even if that just means you avoid the frustrating, or annoying, disruptions. And I’m certain for people with poor cell phone signals, having your modem/router connected to the internet during a power outage is extremely helpful and maybe even lifesaving.

Don't expect a lot of load-time from this backup. It is only meant for short term/power-blips of light loads. For the price it is more than functional and from a quality name of APC. They have been doing UPS systems for many years.

I purchased this battery backup to keep the memory in my water softener when brief power interruptions occur before the generator kicks in. So far it seems to work but just waiting for an event to occur to test it.

This APC product was bought to replace another. I have purchased APC products for all of my computer equipment. I have looked at other suppliers, but use APC exclusively. They are reliable and dependable. Their warranty is good also.

I bought this to ride me through the numerous power flickers I experience at my home. It won't run the router long maybe 2 hours but at least it will compensate for those short term power lapses. So far so good

Great for out here in the country with frequent brown outs and occasional lightning. You can hear the unit kick in when the power drops. Just connect your equipment and forget it. Green light lets you know unit is functioning properly.

This is a smaller UPS. I am using it in my panel it power my alarm and router and network switch. These systems do not require large amounts of power so I have protection and internet though multiple days of power outages,.

The battery on my previous back up went out, and it was less expensive to buy a new back up than it was to replace the battery. I chose this item on the recommendation of a sales associate, and I am very happy with the unit.
