I have this to keep a few computer things at home protected from power surges and drops. It works great and looks pretty decent as well. Easy to setup and the display is a nice feature that lets me see the status easily. It also supports management via the UPS port for system shutdown.

The UPS has plenty of juice to keep things on long enough to power through a decent outage. The display on the front is easy to read and gives you the necessary information to help gauge how much time is left before you have to call it quits.

Battery backup systems and surge protectors are supposed to work when there are line power outages or other problems. It did. You hope you won't need it, but when you need it, it's great to have one that works. Handy outlets in the back.

Get the higher capacity 1500VA if you can afford it, otherwise the 1100VA should be adequate for a single computer to last 20 minutes (depending on your PC's wattage requirements) UPS batteries typically last a couple years so be prepared to replace if you don't get a lot of time out of the battery when the power goes out. I deployed a few dozen of these around my office complex, helpful when the power flickers and everything stays running.

Does what it advertises. I can’t state how long the battery last as for years, but it does appear to block power adnormal hits and roughy a 40-min backup on a 27-inch iMac.

Easy to set up. Clear markings on outlets for surge and surge with battery backup. Had it about a year now and works flawlessly.

I had one of these for my TV, Direct TV, TiVo, Surround System, and multiple DVD players. It lasted 8 years. So far this replacement is great.

Purchased this as a replacement for an older unit that was smaller and the battery finally quit. Since I needed an immediate replacement, it was this one or a smaller unit. I chose this one and am happy with it thus far. It has enough places for connect our computers, wireless router and cordless phone. We've had one extended power outage and the unit kicked in immediately and provided uninterrupted access to my laptop. We have random power surges and this is when i'm glad to have my laptops on the power surge and battery back-up connection. This unit should last me a good while.

APC makes great UPS's and this is no exception. The new design of the cases looks a lot nicer and the display has a lot of information for you geeks out there. The front USB charger (type A and C) is very handy and has a 3A output so it will charge just about anything. It has 6 UPS outlets and 4 surge so I can plug in my PC, 3 monitors, printer and speakers all into the backup outlets so I get full blackout protection on my whole system and the 1100VA is enough to run it all.

This does the truck. We live in an area with constant power outages and blinks and this saves my Wi-Fi and router.

Excellent price on a relatively high load purpose power needs (TV & subwoofer). Does a great job of keeping everying powered & running cleanly.

What good is it to spend a lot of money on a nice computer and then not protect it from a power failure? We live in a rural location and the power is not always reliable. I'm familiar with the APC UPS brand from my days as a data center manager. This little unit has everything you need to protect your PC from power failures as well as spikes and noise. A great product at a great price and the peace of mind it gives you is priceless.

Helps ease the mind when severe weather comes through, has a fantastic support capacity for the price point, and is incredibly easy to use. For everything I have plugged into it, I get an astounding amount of battery life, which should be more than enough to allow me to power everything down safely instead of potentially devastating losses to power fluctuations.

We have had several of these APC systems and they never disappoint. I have even replaced some of the batteries after several years of use, to extend the life of the system. The software is easy to use and informative. I have tried other brands and always been disappointed and ended up buying another APC to replace them. They had them on sale at a competitor; so Best Buy did a very easy price-match and saved me another $45.

I've had this thing for just under a month and it's already saved me thousands of dollars in damage. Lightning struck between myself and my neighbors house just last week. Everything else plugged into the same electrical circuit this device was plugged into is totally fried. Everything plugged into this device, totally safe. As far as electronics go, this is the best investment I've made in the last two years.

I have been looking to replace my APC UPS because the battery is dead and unit was 7 years old. I called APC and they offered a replacement at a discount. I preferred to buy local so I have been watching Best Buy emails for a deal and this came up on deal of the day for $99. Fantastic price. These units are reliable and I like that it has all the outlets and has the visible indicators on the front.

This UPS was extremely easy to hook up. I definitely recommend this unit to anyone with equipment they want with clean power and a reliable battery backup.
