But I've used APC UPSes of various types for decades now, and they've all been good enough (i.e. they've saved a lot of equipment over the years). Run-down time isn't that great, but mostly good enough to shut a system down without losing anything, once power's totally out. Endless power dips have gone by with (almost) never an actual outage from those. Good units and so far this one lives up to 'the usual'. Equipment replacement 'guarantees' I've never really had to test so far, so nothing to say at this point on that.

Great for protecting my tech

I got two of these to plug in my gear in my home office and in my computer engineer wife’s office. They work great and have had no problems. My only recommendation to someone looking into buying one of these is find out how much power you need. This has plenty of power for us, but some may find it isn’t enough. Very good buy!
