Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the Back-UPS Pro's long battery life, ease of use, and strong performance. Many appreciate the clear LCD screen and the ample number of outlets, along with the inclusion of USB Type-C and Type-A ports. However, some users noted the unit's weight and reported minor issues with the software and occasional noise. The warranty process also received mixed feedback.

Great price on this very versatile power/surge protector. It came highly recommended. I really like the ease of changing the battery if need be.

Solid unit. Been working well for almost 2 years. With my computer. (AMD 2950x, 2080Ti) and 3 monitors connected, it will give 27min on battery. That is more than enough time to save everything and shut shut down the system. I have a 2nd unit for my networking Modem, Router, & Switches that will give me 70min. The line conditioning seems to work well too. Software is straight forward and easy to use. Very pleased with this unit and APC as a company over all.

Works great. Very handy with all the Florida storms. Don't have to worry when the power goes out. The surge protector can last 30-60 minutes or even more when the power goes out.

I bought several of these to power my FOH booth @ church. They power all my computers, sound board, and rack equipment with no issues. They don't make noise. They recover from the initial startup load from turning everything on within just a minute. I calculate that they'll sustain about 10 minutes with a power loss for my setup, which way more than I need as I just need to prevent a premature shutdown in the case of a brown out or short power outage. I also love all the outlet choices on the back & the battery display meters. Hooking up the internal battery was annoying, but pretty standard and a simple process.

I also own the non usb version of this and was pleased with the results, so I decided to give this one a shot. Works like it should and the usb is a nice feature. Please note: I've had 2 power outages and compared both units (1500 non-usb and this one). Really was no difference in time until complete shutdown. Both showed around 2 hours while hooked up to tv, soundbar, subwoofer, router, modem and RING base station on. Satisfied with the product and will probably grab another one once it's on sale again below $200 and just hook it up to my modem and router.

I own 3 of these. On #1, I have 200 watts of power connected. On #2, I have 600 watts of power connected. On #3, I have 800 watts of power connected. Over my time of ownership, my power (from PSE&G) has been interrupted numerous times. Usually, split second interruptions, and an occasional 1-or-2 second outage. All of my connected equipment has sailed through every power issue. Nothing ever went down or restarted. As far as my connected equipment was concerned, the power remained up and steady 100% of the time. If provides sine wave output (lesser UPS systems provide square waves or stepped sine waves). And this model has active voltage regulation (it can bump up or clamp down on low / high voltages, without having to switch to its battery (unless the voltage become too far out of spec, then the unit will go to its battery). Assuming I get, perhaps, 5 years before needing to replace the battery, I am very pleased with this unit. My only concern is that on #3, I have only five minutes of run time. A longer (although unlikely) power interruption will drain the battery. And as the battery ages, that run time will be reduced. If you want longer run times, then either purchase a unit that has twice the capacity of what you are plugging in to it. Or, buy a model that offers additional, external battery packs (that gets expensive). For typical home and small office use, to keep your computers running though brown-outs, black-outs, surges, spikes, line noise, etc, this model does an outstanding job.

Long lasting backup power with plenty of plugins, the New APC offers serge protection for the electrical, internet and ethernet connections with more than enough plugin spaces for the entire PC TV and entertainment center package.

This is replacing an older unit that has been in use for many years under my desk. The last one worked great but finally stopped working. I thought it could be the battery but I was tired of hearing the beeping after the many power losses we had the last several weeks, so I couldn't wait for the replacement. I would expect this one to last just as long and work as suggested like the last one. FYI it was the battery so now I have two units but this is used at my desk. The second older unit will be used somewhere else.

This is a great battery backup. I purchased it to upgrade the previous one I had. Although I haven't timed it, conservatively this lasts an estimated 15-20 minutes (maybe longer), while my previous backup would die in about 5.
