The APC last longer and has more power than any other brands. Always reliable!

This unit is easy to install and operate. The display is very readable and supplies good information. The display and sound can be turned on and off. The USB ports in front are a good feature. NOT FOR CPAP Sleep Machine ResMed AirCurve 10 I have several smaller APC units backing up various devices in my home. They generally don't last longer than 30 minutes, but that is what they are designed for. Not doing any additional research, I figured that buying a more expensive APC would power my CPAP sleep machine (I have a ResMed Aircurve 10) for at least one night. I was wrong. I got just under an hour of power for my sleep machine (ResMed Aircurve 10) during the power outage on 07-08-2024. You can turn off the beeps on the machine, which is great, but the physical clicks are extremely loud, and they woke me up. As the power was cutting in and out - even when the lights stayed on - the APC was clicking on and off keeping the power continuous and clean. I think I am going to put a smaller APC on my sleep machine and/or find a battery backup designed for CPAP machines. Five stars because it is functioning as it should - just not for what I bought it for. It will ultimately move to my entertainment center to provide clean power/surge protection.

We replaced an older back up tower that was no longer working. This one works well and gives us peace of mind.

Simple setup. You can put it to use within 3 minutes of taking it out of the box. It is a little heavy, but entirely worth it. The customer service behind them is also amazing. Since you get a warranty included with the product purchase, they are responsive and informative in case any damage occurs to your products plugged into the device.

APC has been protecting computers for years. Their UPS systems are reliable and easy to setup. I bought four of this model for a one bedroom apartment. They protect electronic gear during the frequent power outages. The large capacity keeps electronic equipment running longer. It also supports LED lighting. The UPS provides surge protected outlets. It can also protect your Ethernet and the line going to your cable modem (Spectrum etal). The USB ports can power a small light or fan. Prevent future agravation. Order an APC UPS and enjoy using some products while power is restored. And more important, shutdown computers without loosing data.

Did you know that almost 10% of humans are old? That means that having a power button that is difficult to press (due to being low to the ground or recessed) means that when this thing starts beeping because the battery is depleted it’s unnecessarily difficult for my customers to press that power button. some of them use a cane for walking and they can’t easily press the power button with their cane because it’s slightly recessed. Having an easy-to-press power button at the top of the unit is an ideal configuration.

I am a long time user of APC back-ups. This was a replacement for a 9 year old unit that failed. The installation was a straight forward swap out. I highly recommend this unit for anyone requiring battery back up and superior surge protection.

I really like this UPS, because it offered lots of power to run my devices for an extended period of time, coupled with the reliability of APC power protection devices (I had previously purchased an APC surge protector that I think is great). It also offers a lot of options for providing surge protection, plugging in devices with off-sized adapters, charging USB devices, and even for communicating with your computing devices so that they can monitor the state of your UPS and shutdown automatically before the battery in the UPS runs out. All of these features can be found in other models, from both APC and from other manufacturers, but this model seemed to offer the best combination of all of these features, which made my purchase decision easy.

Got this as I outgrew my previous APC unit and needed more capacity. It's a good solid unit. Does the job. It's overkill for my needs but that's good as I have lots of run time for my Home Automation hubs as well as my network hardware.

has worked perfectly, so far. Good news, my temp power outages in my area have slowed down. But this also cleans my power for electronics and removes the spikes.

Easy to set up. A nice improvement in unit appearance and screen display from my prior model. Bought this one to replace an older model that had a component failure (not the battery pack). Lots of outlets for plugging things in. Like the prior model, this one does its core job, kicking in when there are over- or under-voltage conditions from my home's electrical power. I am always extremely glad to have a unit like this when storms or other issues cause rapid on/off flickering of the power, which is horrible for unprotected electronics. Expensive, but IMO worth it. I consider APC the best of class for this kind of thing in the home.

Good amount of plugs. The front USB ports come in handy. It keeps my network equipment running for a good long time during an outage for my phone and laptop. I get a lot of brownouts and APC has never let my systems falter.

There is no good time to lose power to tech running 24/7. When my M-I-L last lost power in an extra severe FL thunderstorm, her AT&T TV gateway got fried via the coaxial cable. Fortunately, the relatively new TV was survived. The replacement gateway had no coaxial, so after installing an ethernet connection, I made sure that the ethernet, and power to both the gateway and TV was provided via a new APC - Back-UPS Pro, 1500VA. Be sure to protect your stuff - recovery time is money. Be sure to get enough wattage coverage for your tech stuff. I purchased the 900 Watt model to assure enough time to power-down any computers to be added. I like the ability to see the power stats and charge mobile devices from front ports.

Works as it should, have been a fan of APC products for years, doesn't disappoint.

Excellent UPS!!! Handled both my setups for work and play. Saved my desktop from a power outage with only a week of use. Handle it like a champ. Best feature is being able turn off the beep when the power cuts out. Just makes an audible click went it cuts over. Doesnt startle my dog.
