Have been running my new beast machine off the UPS for a few weeks, smooth as silk.
The Beast is a ASUS ROG Maximus IX Code motherboard, i7 7700K, EVGA GTX 1060, .M2 Samsung 960 Pro SSD, and two 1TB HDD's running Raid1 for quick backups off the SSD, EVGA 850 G2 PS, 5 140mm Fans and Liquid Cooling system. And some other stuff, all pulling quite a load on the juice.
Have not had any power outages as of yet, but have tested w by unplugging the power from the UPS. Alarm beeping, the beast and monitor never skipped a beat.
Have been using APC UPS's at home and in large server rooms for decades....still using them.

I have had a lot of family members who use UPSs from APC and have had good customer support when needed. APC makes a very good product and it is very easy to setup. The only down fall to it, is that I have two computers powered off of it and only one can be shut down if the power goes out. It would be nice if they shipped it with a small onboard webserver like printers do and allow you to have a piece of software that monitors it. Otherwise it is a great product.

I bought this UPS to protect my home PC and server as well as some home networking equipment. The unit itself is nice looking and doesn't take up much space. The display on the front is useful and with the equipment plugged in, the load is less than 40%. The only downside is the Windows software is terrible and doesn't seem to install properly on my Windows 7 Ultimate PC. I don't think it's a big deal to not use the software so not a big deal. The other downside is the cost. I know this isn't a Best Buy issue but it's a tough pill to swallow none the less.

Bought this ups to replace one that was too small and failing. The apc1500 exceeds my systems demands for power and works very reliably when the power goes out it safely and reliably saves my work and shuts my systems down.

I live in the Tampa Bay area. Tampa Bay is the lightning capital of the United States. In fact, that’s the reason that our hockey team is called the Tampa Bay Lightning. That being said, we experience lots of power outages. During the rainy season (summer) this can happen on a daily basis. Most of the outages only last for a few seconds to a few minutes. Even a very short outage creates problems for me because of my entertainment and communication setup. I don’t have traditional cable television or traditional phone service. I only have Internet service from the cable company. My setup is as follows: I have a cable modem/router, Ooma Telo system, cordless telephone base station, and cell phone booster. When we have a short power outage all of my systems go down and it takes about 15 minutes for everything to get back up and running. Now I have all of these items plugged into this new APC - Br1500G Power Saving Back UPS Rs 1500 that I purchased from Best Buy. Since I’ve started using this beauty I don’t have the problem anymore. It’s great and I wished I would have thought of doing this sooner. I am totally satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anyone.

I have owned other brand UPS equipment. This uninterruptible power supply(UPS) is superior to those other brands. The UPC UPS has it own operational shutdown system, which can be updated online. The current operating status of the UPC UPS can be displayed by your computer because the UPC UPS has a dedicated line(USB connection) for receiving and communicating information with your computer. This UPC UPS is much BETTER than the competitors! The UPC UPS is the BEST one to purchase!

I purchased this unit to power my outdoor cameras and AT&T Uverse equipment during power outages. The unit has provided power twice in the past three months. It worked perfect and powered the devices for twenty minutes before the power returned. The alarm alerts you that the device has detected the failure and the readout screen provides details on the unit's operation.

I bought this ups to power my home office. I have it powering an amp, a dac, speakers, subwoofer, modem, router, printer, two 24" monitors, an led desk lamp and a Microsoft surface dock. Even with everything on I still have over 30 minutes of runtime. I live in Florida where we have lightning all the time. Since I have installed the unit in April I have had 10 power events according to the ups. Twice the power has gone out and I have continued work uninterrupted. This product is a must have if you have frequent power problems. I bought a second one to hook up to my tv, ps4, home theater setup.

I purchased this unit to replace another brand that died. I did comparisons among several manufacturers. The APC units far outshine the others. One feature that is really unique is the fact that you do not have to open the unit up to connect or replace the batteries. The readout panel provides all the information a person could want. The "switched" outlets can be configured in software to set the threshold power draw (in watts) where the outlets activate and deactivate.

Product acts as a backup for my NVR, Router, and Smart Things monitoring systems.
The product is a little heavier than one would expect, but the overall quality seems to be good.
Software disc for external monitoring is basically useless...

I would recommend this for anyone that has delicate electronic equipment. Unlike most UPS the Smart UPS from APC produces a balanced sine wave. It has an input for a network cable, and comes with software that enables you to control your UPS over your network.
This thing is truly a beast!

I have a 750 watt power supply in a custom build. If I'm not doing something intensive while the power goes out, this APC power backup will keep my computer running for several minutes. I have several power outages that last about 2 mins. I haven't tested it to see how long it will actually provide power, but the software that came with the APC says I could get 60 mins. Small foot print as far as backups go. I like that the batteries can be replaced so you don't throw the whole thing in the trash.

Long lasting backup during power outages. I run my cable modem and network router when power goes down and can still use my laptop for a couple of hours without power. Can even use tv for shorter time.

On these hot summer days when power can suddenly disappear in a flash, having this very reliable UPS protect my computer from a power surge is comforting. Sleek design and works like a dream.
