      I liked the cables technology and color options to match my layout decor. I used this connector was used to attach to a external device housing a raid controller that is connected via two E-sata cables to a 8 bay raid system. Another thunderbolt cable is connected to one of two 27 inch Apple monitors.

      I recently tried to cut costs and went with a discount thunderbolt cable. A year later I was buying another one. Went with the Apple brand thunderbolt cable and it works like a charm. Never had a problem with Apple branded accessories, although they do cost a little more.

      i bought a new MacBook air and needed to transfer data from my old MacBook pro. the thunderbolt cable made the transfer very quick and easy. good stuff. works excellent. use only the apple made thunderbolt cable. a little expensive though.

      I bought this to help transfer a ton of data onto a new Mac. It’s a must buy. I tried over a normal usb cord and wi Fi and it would have taken a week. This took a few hours. I’ll probably never use it again though
