I wasnt sure if getting an iPad would be a waste of money or not because I had just bought an IPhone 11 but I’m so so glad I bought one. Got a Rose Gole one with a keyboard case & apple pen & I use it all day long with keeps my IPhone charged longer, in fact I charge my phone every other day because I’m always on my IPad... Honestly I cant live without one now. One of the best things I ever bought!!!

I left the Apple echosystem a while back and have since had a huawei mediapad m5 tablet. Unfortunately, I lost support with that tablet with Huawei losing US support, thus Google support. I decided to grab this guy as it was a relatively inexpensive tablet for what it provides. The only problem I have, and I have this problem with most Apple products, is that it feels just like the iPad I owned back in 2013. It literally feels exactly the same, save for some tweaks to the software. That is not worth $280 in my personal opinion. I ended up, due to upgrading and getting Samsung credit, going with the Samsung S5e and I love it. The tablet is light, thin, minimal bezels, fast, and has a superb screen and the speakers are loud and clear. I just wish Apple would innovate more and they'd probably have more business from me.

This iPad is just the right size. It’s very easy to use and it is also very lightweight.

I needed something lightweight for travel...considered using my 12-year-old iPad which I had misplaced so I bought this new one. I found my old iPad (missing 2 years) and compared it to the new one. It's lighter weight, brighter, easier to use so I'm taking it on my next trip and leaving the old one at home. I bought a protective glass and cover. Oh, and so much less expensive than the earlier version.

Ipads last long long time. Recently I donated three Ipad 1 and 2's to a charity. This new model is lighter and faster than previous models. Writing capability like an Ipad Pro is a huge plus because the Ipad pros are really heavy. For some light work, I can use this new Ipad. The screen size is bigger so Ipad pro 11 is losing its merit. Overall good buy and can't wait to buy OLED Ipads in the future.

I have to admit, I traded in a mint condition iPad 4 on this new iPad 7 and being totally honest, the iPad 4 felt like it was much better built. If Apple still would have made updates available for the 4 and it wasn’t running so sluggish, I would have just kept it. It was that good and that reliable. The iPad 7 has a plastic screen, obviously to keep costs down and make the price point cheaper, but this move gives the iPad 7 a much cheaper feel in my opinion. Something I’m just not used to with Apple products. Everything else about the iPad 7 is great, screen resolution and quality is good, It’s software performance is great, fit and finish is great, I just think something feels off with the use of a plastic screen. It’s fully functional and I’ve not tried it with an Apple Pencil, but I think Apple should have used a glass screen just because it’s Apple and we are used to premium quality devices from them. I’m going to install a quality tempered glass screen protector because I miss the glass screen that much on this new iPad.

Nice tablet. Fast, light and powerful. I bought it for my grandaughter and she love it.

Bought this to upgrade my very old Ipad- It is lighter, faster and much improved screen.

The iPad 7 is a perfectly competent tablet and a great value for the price. My biggest gripe with it is the lack of a laminated display like its bigger brothers the Air and the Pro. I guess that's how Apple can afford to sell these cheaper, but still, in 2020, all tablets should be laminated. Anyways, at this point in its life cycle, you should only get the iPad 7 if its on clearance around $250/275, because the iPad 8 was just announced and its basically the same tablet, but with a faster processor (and still no laminated display). I own both the Air 3 and the iPad 7, and in the past, I would say upgrade to the iPad Air if you could afford it, but now that the Air starts at $600 instead of $500, this tablet is probably best for most consumers.

My daughter received this for Christmas & loves it. Unfortunately, I think she mainly uses it to stream movies, etc, which she used to do on her phone. She kept asking to use my IPAD & so finally she realized that she might want her own. Now her sister wants one, but she plans to use it for her college classes to take notes. Everyone in our family has an IPAD and use them constantly.

My son and family live in NYC and for years we have used Skype and other Face Time like products to communicate. Our first IPad had served to give us web access faithfully till it succumed to a dead battery. Into the drawer it went and was long forgotten. I even tried, unsuccessfully to trade it in to Amazon. I recall now that I took it with other donations to the Salvation Army. We were still able to do our usual Sunday afternoon call to NYC to view our grand daughter and parents. Until one day my son told us a change to their internet provider would no longer let us use anything but Apple Face Time. I resisted my wife's pressure as long as I could and started looking for another Ipad with the right stuff. The used market and other sources were asking near what retailers wanted for new product so I kept watch and waited till I found a good sale on the latest model. When I read the $50 price reduction at Best Buy some weeks ago I quickly reached their web site and placed an order. Picked it up a couple of hours later. Had not even turned on an IPad in years and it took a couple more hours to remember how to do it! From then on it was a piece of cake. Was soon testing a Face Time call to my son and it worked perfectly. I was really impressed with the superb picture quality and speed of its operation and it was certainly a nice bonus when Apple added the AppleTV free for a year.

Love it! No issues with the device. Easy downloads, quick charging. And very user friendly. The only problem I ran into was downloading Xfinity Stream and that seemed to be a common problem for a lot of people. I just love sitting in bed with this little thing, when all I had before was a clumsy laptop. Everyone needs one!!!

I've been using iPads since the first one came out and keep updating them when a new one comes out. They are always perfect and this one is as well. I use it for everything: browsing, streaming movies to my huge TV, reading, and teaching. In fact, I've had the iPad Air 4 for couple of month and didn't like it much. A regular iPad works better for me.

My husband bought this for me just as the stay-at-home orders started. This has been a favorite item in terms of providing me the ability to watch streaming shows, keep up on social media, message my family and friends, play an occasional game as a distraction, order groceries and even check work emails - all from anywhere in my house on a screen much more user-friendly than my phone.

We purchased this for a friend whose Mac died and she needed a new device. Since she primarily used her computer to watch movies, search the internet, and read email, we thought this would be a good fit for her. She loves it as it is easy to use and is light enough she can travel with it. She purchased a case and keyboard (not an Apple one) so it is a defacto computer for her.
