It's a great product for a great price

This model of the iPad comes with outdated specs, and because of that it's not very future proof. With that said it's a great product at an incredible price, so it's definitely worth buying if you only plan on using it for web browsing and light app usage.

Thought I would try apple for them. Surprised that I do think it is somewhat easier to use. The system does not seem to be as good as microsoft however. Lots of "great new features" that have been on microsoft for a couple of years.

About time better compatibility with external gear

The main reason is that the products have always been proprietary based and a pain to exchange files with other systems. The IPad Pro 11 thankfully uses an USB C interface and helps minimize that issue. The screen and camera are quite good as is the performance.
