Each version gets better...it just works
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unprecedented times make for using a tablet almost a necessity; Skype/Zoom video, online learning, shopping, book reading. The look and feel haven't changed on the iPad in over a decade, but with each new version, it just continues to work the way it's supposed to. The 7th gen definitely gives the SoC a needed boost. No real lag with apps and if you want to play games, it can handle that as well. The battery life has been on par with 2020 tablets. You should be able to watch a few movies before needing to charge. If you play games, then 4-5 hours of continuous playing is pretty good. A solid tablet with such good price point at the time of purchase (around $250). 32gb is not much for storage, but for media consumption and communicating with others and reading.

All around a great upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was an upgrade for an iPad a few generations older, this new model is meaningfully better in every way: screen, speed, responsiveness, size, battery, iOS, etc. The challenge with technology is that change keeps marching forward. Having to look at these devices as disposable is unfortunate, but the hardware simply can’t keep up with the ever improving software - at least this upgrade was a real improvement and well worth it. Last, the price point of this new model, though not cheap, is a real value for money when comparing to prior Apple iPad models.

Great camera easy to use and love all the apps!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow! Love this iPad. I use my iPad for almost everything. The camera is awesome I use that 24/7! I like to draw with the Apple pencil. I use my iPad to watch Disney Plus, I like watching videos. I do a lot of FaceTime with my family and friends. For shopping online. It is so light that I can carry it in my purse and take it anywhere. It was affordable for someone like me that is on a budget.

This iPad has potential to replace a budget laptop
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was one those people who never saw an iPad ever replacing a laptop. But after a few days of using it, I now understand why it can easily replace any budget laptop. If you are looking for a device that can run Microsoft Office products, Adobe Photoshop (if you are learning), browse the web, and watch YouTube, this iPad will suffice. I bought this iPad because I was tired of using my iPhone 8 as my primary use for web browsing and watch YouTube at home. If you are a programmer or a professional level user for Adobe Photoshop/Premiere making a living, than buy a laptop or MacBook. Currently writing this review on the iPad and I have plans on buying the Logitech combo to officially retire my 2012 laptop. For $250 (On sale), this iPad is an easy choice to purchase if your laptop is no longer working and you are looking for a replacement for basics needs.

Great ipad!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my mother and she loves it so much. She keeps her iPhone font size on the maximum setting so I knew this size of iPad would be big enough for visual enjoyment, but not too big for her aged hands that lack much strength these days. I wanted to get her something nice as she deserves it and I couldnt stand watching her trying to do everything with her small iPhone, so I knew I had to get her something bigger and better. The new iPadOS runs smoothly on this base model. This is perfect for anyone who wants a convenient, portable mini computer to research, type up documents, engage in social media, watch movies, listen to music, read, and play games! I was surprised to see that this still utilizes the fingerprint scanner, but I know a lot of people love having that integrated still and my mother has not complained. She was amazed by the technology of this device even in just the setup process. This would be a wonderful gift for any student or creative mind. Be aware that this device only works with the first generation Apple Pencil, which is something I highly recommend purchasing as an accessory!

Love this device! But Buy 128gb when on sale
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best but has been amazing! I made multiple purchase with them during the lockdown and this iPad was not in stock when I bought it, it was suppose to take two weeks just to ship & i actually received it in just five days! I recently switched from years of using galaxy phones & a galaxy tablet, this is such a better device! It runs smoothly, the screen is beautiful, can run multiple tabs & pages and I use it everyday. I bought my fiancé the iPad Air at the same time and I honestly can't tell that big of a difference out side of it having 5x the storage & it costing 300$ more. This budget iPad is a great choice for a personal tablet but you should definitely spend the extra money for the 128gb of storage because the operating system takes about 7-8gb.

You can never go wrong with Apple
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a prime example of not going wrong with Apple. My cheap “Onn” Tablet (same size) which was slow and affordable ended up dropping and breaking so easily. I can’t get upset, you get what you pay for right? So I decided to just go the extra mile (and extra buck) and get an iPad. I have been with iPhone since the beginning and Macbook since 2013. Boy oh boy, was I still blown away by the iPad! Yes, it is a bigger and better iPhone. But yes, it is still even more amazing. So quick, like a computer. Larger screen, much larger than the iPad Mini but still less expensive because there’s less memory. If you need comfort and more memory, get the iPad mini. If you want screen size, don’t mind less memory, are on a budget, and would like an iPad, go with this one. You can never go wrong with Apple, guaranteed this will last forever and a day and it will ALWAYS be sellable later when you upgrade.

Long Time iPad User
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been an iPad user since the original. Just purchased another one yesterday. The new iPad 7 32GB. They are the ultimate couch computer. The iPad is everything a tablet should be. Mostly for reading, browsing, messaging, with a little bit of occasional work. I've learned over the years however to not "over buy" an iPad. I've tried the bigger 12.9" Pros and have not found them to be a laptop replacement. I don't need a lot of features/storage on an iPad. For heavy duty sutff I still want and need my Macbook Pro. I have an iPad 6 that is always on the night stand. And this new iPad 7 will always be in my backpack for those times when I just want to grab something small and light to go read, play a game, or whatever. For $329 you really can't go wrong with this tablet. No Android tablet I've ever tried (going all the way back to the original Galaxy Tab) comes close.

Best iPad value in years
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am so happy I decided to buy this iPad. This is our fourth iPad purchase since about 2012. By far, I am most pleased with this purchase. I’d purchased iPads for my kids but never one for myself bc I preferred the laptop, Wow! Is all I can say! This has been the least expensive iPad purchase but does the most in my opinion. I do everything on it. I splurged and bought the Apple Pen and it just was topping on the cake. If you’re considering buying, go ahead and purchase...you won’t regret it.

The lastest gen iPad is a no brainer - get it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The lastest iPad is pretty much the perfect tablet, in that reaches just the right balance of screen size, battery life, gorgeous display and fast processor speed. It's a great value at $329, and with Best Buy frequently running it on sale for $250, there's no reason to consider any other tablet for the average person. If you're an artist or have a particular reason to need one of the more expensive versions, sure, but for the average person who wants a tablet for email and surfing and light gaming, you won't go wrong buying this. Just do it.

Best iPad yet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this for my mom to replace her iPad mini 1 that’s become virtually unusable with the latest software updates. She was concerned with the size as this is even bigger than my 6th gen iPad, but it’s lightweight (and a thinner cover than the bulky one she had on the mini) made up for the difference. It’s very fast, the screen size is an excellent upgrade and I like you can use the Smart Keyboard with it. Unless you want the massive iPad Pro or are a creative professional I see no reason not to get this one over the pricier ones, it’s the best iPad since the Air 2.

Great upgrade for an older iPad
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had an iPad that was about 7 years old (at least) and could no longer upgrade iOS--probably stuck in some version of 10. I pretty much used it to read news, view YouTube videos, surf the web, and play a few games. While these tasks are pretty simple, my old iPad could barely handle it. I was forever rebooting it or waiting for minutes for it to clear cache. My mother (in her 70s) had a even older iPad that she was also used for basic tasks, but could no longer upgrade iOS or apps that she used. I purchased this model with 128GB at the end of 2019, and could finally open an app and read the news in seconds rather than minutes. I purchased this one with 32GB for my mother in 2020. She didn't need much storage for what she did. She was a little apprehensive about setting it up since she did not set up her original iPad. Tech Support (me) was to busy at the time to help her when she first received it, so she went ahead and set it up on her own. She found it to be very easy to do so. (Yeah, iCloud!) As a sidenote... I also had an old clunky Dell laptop with Windows 10, again I really did not use it for anything particular taxing, but Quicken would pretty much bring the computer to a standstill (if if would run at all). I debated about replacing my old laptop and iPad with a Surface or an iPad Pro. I decided to not get the iPad Pro since it could not run some of the Windows software that I used. I also had read many reviews that said the Surface was not really a great "tablet." Also with the exception of PCs and Echos, my family is all in on Apple (2 iPads, 5 iPhones, 2 AirPods, 2 AirPod Pros & AppleTV) so I really wanted a tablet that still worked with our other Apple devices. I decided to upgrade my iPad to the iPad (2019) with 128Gb. After a few more months of struggling with my laptop, I finally gave in and bought a base Surface Pro 7 (and later the keyboard). I am happy that I went hybrid. The iPad is lightweight (both literally and figuratively) as a device for basic browsing, reading books and news, and simple gaming. The Surface Pro 7 is larger and not very heavy. However it is noticeably heavier than the iPad and hard to hold as a tablet. So I love my iPad for what it does best and I love my Surface for what it does best.

Excellent value for a functional device.
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have nothing but high praise for this device. It manages to throw everything I send its way. Between office tasks, video consumption, light gaming, and social media, this iPad has chugged along perfectly. The slightly larger screen makes the aspect ratio more friendly for document viewing, though you will get letterboxing for videos. For the MSRP of $330, this is a deal, but it can be had for even less, usually going on sale for $250 (or even less with open box). This is a no-brainer, pick up one for you and your parents!

iPad
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The is one of the best iPad you can get. The iPad is the top selling tables you can get. It can almost handle any task you try. You can use it as a tablet or use it as a laptop. The best thing it is for is its apps in the Apple Store. Everything runs smooth, fast and clear. They have most of the apps you are looking for. The iPad Apple 10.2 inch is a perfect size. My favorite thing to do is watch movies. Also the battery is perfect.

Surprisingly Fast
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a first gen iPad, iPad 3, Mini 2, and 2 Mini 4. We are an iPad family to say the least. I bought this particular with zero expectations and to make my butthurt 11 year old stop complaining how she was the only one to not get a new iPad for Christmas. We went a few days later and I bought her this one. Unboxing experience is typical but the performance was impressive. Fast and bright with excellent battery life. She’s enjoying it and uses it with the folio keyboard from Logitech. Excellent value.

Long Battery Life
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i bought this ipad to replace my ipad mini 4 that was only 16gb. i was quite surprised how nice and light this ipad was. i did have to get used to the bigger screen but it lasts a long time even when using Netflix or Hulu. Those streaming services tend to drain my phone and old ipad quickly. I would also like to add that it's almost as good as a macbook. i have one and usually take it to work everyday but now that i have this ipad. it's easier to take along with me.

Love this for writing
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed something to hand write with that would convert it to text as I am not a fast typer so laptops aren't my thing. I bought this with the apple pen and got the nebo app. It is AMAZING! I dont know how I lived without this during my college days! It perfect for those who still prefer to hand write and I also use this as a drawing tablet since photoshop now has a ipad app. The price was cheaper than most laptops even with the pen. Worth it!!
