Apple has it down. If you need a tablet to pick up and use without complications, get one of these. Pros: Fast Easy of the eyes Easy to use Great features Secure Light weight Great build quality Looong battery life Cons: No USB features Some cross platform issues (But getting better) I do have to say that Apple is coming out with some new device add-ons that make the iPad a little more versatile, but you have to have deep pockets.

Best Value in Tech at the Moment

For what you get at this price point it's a true bargain. A couple of weeks after purchasing for $329 Best Buy dropped the price to $249 for the entry level 7th Gen which I bought. When I inquired about the price drop they credited my account for the $80 difference matching their new lower price. Sweet! The credit almost covered the cost of the Logitech Slim Folio Case with Integrated Bluetooth Keyboard which I purchased along with my iPad. However, knowing what I know now I would have spent an extra $30 dollars and gotten the Brydge 10.2 wireless Bluetooth keyboard. The Brydge offers a hinged keyboard design giving the ability to position the screen however you need to for optimal viewing which I can't do with the Logitech slim folio. It also has backlit keys which sadly the slim folio doesn't have. However, on the plus side the slim folio does offer superior protection for your iPad against accidental bumps, drops and rough handling but for me the hinged keyboard design of the Brydge provides a much better viewing and laptop experience which to me is more important. In summary this 7th Gen iPad is my first Apple product ever and have to say so far after a couple of weeks of daily use I'm very impressed with it's capabilities and user experience. It's definitely faster and more robust in terms of performance than my last Gen Samsung Tab A which has almost identical screen size. You can't go wrong choosing this 7th Gen iPad at this price point and in my opinion is probably one of the best deals in tech at this time.

I have had and been using the latest model iPad now for a few months and do enjoy what I use it for. I switched back from the Android Camp, as I wanted to try Apple products again. So far I have been very happy with the ease of use and performance. I chose to move back to apple as I feel the quality of the device is better, as far as build quality goes. The review for the purchase will include this review request from Best Buy, as the review request is for the one I purchased for my wife as a birthday gift recently. She is enjoying the new iPad which replaced her iPad mini 1st generation. Sadly, the mini still works, and at over 5 years old, the battery still lasts a long time. Unfortunately, as these devices age, technology leaves them behind. The OS no longer updates and apps are not supported, but the device can still be used for a few things. I know how much she hated to move on, (A sentimental thing, I had it engraved with something special when originally purchased), but after purchasing the newest model, she is now able to use the device for a variety of tasks as the OS is current and apps are as well. Again, I will likely stick with the apple products due to the build quality of their devices. My wife also has an iPhone 6, several years old, that still has excellent battery life. I also have an old iPod gen 5 that still works, albeit kind of slow as the processor is old, these devices are built well and continue to function after being dropped, bumped and banged around.

This iPad is perfect for me. I do not store a lot of photos or other data and I use the device mostly for apps and surfing the internet. This iPad is perfect for that . It is light weight, powerful and easy to use. The battery lasts two to three days but I am not a heavy user, maybe 1 - 3 hours a day. The display is very clear and the brightness is adjustable and is very easy for me to see clearly.

I decided to upgrade from my iPad Air 1st Gen that I bought around 7 years ago, so couldn't pass up on this deal. Purchased on bestbuy.com when it was on sale for $249.99. Amazing value for an Apple product; even for the non discount price of $329.99 its a great deal in my opinion. It has better specs than my old iPad and it cost half of the price. If you have an older iPad that currently stopped supporting the latest iOS updates then this is a great iPad to get as a replacement. Comparing the iPad Air 1st Gen to the iPad Air 7 Gen: iPad Air 1st Gen: 9.7 inch display A7 chip 5MP wide camera 2048‑by‑1536 resolution at 264 ppi 400 nits max brightness No Touch ID iPad 7 Gen: 10.2 inch display A10 fusion chip 8MP wide camera 2160-by-1620 resolution at 264 ppi 500 nits max brightness Has Touch ID An excellent deal if your looking to upgrade from an old iPad.

I use iPad for work and my 3 year old refurbished iPad Air was showing it's age. The battery wasn't lasting all day, apps crashing due to lack of RAM. The 7th gen iPad was a nice upgrade with a bigger screen, 3 times the RAM, faster processor, and fingerprint sensor. I went from charging my iPad twice a day to charging this one every other day. Very good purchase for me, especially when on sale.

I received this today and instantly fell in love! It’s big, smooth and fast. Perfect for anyone who wants an iPad that doesn’t want to spend a lot. As well, I should add that the color gold is more in between a gold and a rose gold, which was a bit unexpected but that made me love it even more. I am beyond satisfied with this iPad and am extremely happy I got it. #noragrets

My wife has had her new fire now for just a few days, but so far, she really likes it. It is slimmer than her old one (2nd gen) and feels nice and light. I ordered the recommended case with it and it fit beautifully, nice and snug for a very thin sleek look. The new Kindle was very easy to set up and all settings were easy to find. Definitely recommend.

Purchased this iPad for my husband for Valentine's Day. It is the perfect size for him and allows him to search easier than using his phone. It is very easy to use if you have used any type of iPad in the past. It is lightweight, but durable. Have looked at a lot of different options and this is definitely the best. The price was great as well

32gb Great for lite users, if you are just playing some games or browsing the web, since you wont need too much storage. Picture quality &screen size is good, it’s nice to have the edges to hold onto without accidentally clicking anything. Very easy to use, got this for a child, thinking about getting one for a grandparent as well.

This iPad is a fantastic value if you need a tablet for everyday use. I didn’t need a great camera. I don’t use it for work or art. I use it for apps to read news, surf the web, use Facebook, and occasionally play games. I bought a Bluetooth keyboard and a pen, so I feel I could use it for the occasional work project.

This model is a great value, esp when it's on sale. The only thing it's really missing is the upgraded screen on the higher up models. But it's still pretty awesome and feature laden. For basic browsing, movie watching, and casual gaming it makes more sense than the more expensive Air, even if the Air is more modern looking.

With school's shutting down, I needed a way to teach math visually through distance learning. I bought this ipad and an apple pen and it's been really smooth so far. I don't take picture so can't really say anything about the camera quality but it's pretty nice showing students how to do math problems through zoom. It'd be impossible to write things with a mouse lol and a track pad just feels weird to me. I'll occasionally watch some netflix too and it's pretty good. Works well with my airpods. Apple I guess is super integrated with myself. I say if you can get it for 275 or lower, it's definitely a steal!

Well made, attractive. Never had an Apple product before so I'm experiencing a bit of a learning curve. Screen is bright, very responsive, internet is fast, I love the large 10.2 screen. Lightweight, finding it easy to get cases for it. Used it several hours a day over 3 days and still showed 75-80% battery life left.

I was debating between this iPad and the pro 11” and honestly, I’m super happy with it. It definitely has the speeds I am looking for when I’m drawing and it’s super lightweight which makes it easy for me to carry it from class to class. And it was super easy to connect it to my phone, so set up took a matter of minutes.

Great size and buttery smooth performance. Setup was super easy and worked flawlessly. For the price it seems hard to beat. Love that it still has the standard headphone jack! It weighs a tiny bit more than the 9.7 version but with the larger screen you would expect some weight change.

This iPad does it all - it slices, it dices, etc. Just don't blend it like a Bass. Seriously though I use this every day for checking email, watching videos, playing games, and chatting over Facetime and Zoom. iPad OS keeps getting better, so this will hold its usefulness for a long time.

Very worth the money. Not the highest-end Ipad in the line but works great -- fast, easy to use, crystal clear -- and is a big step forward from my 6-yr old prior Ipad.

The iPad itself is fantastic, works great, easy to use and excellent battery life that lasts for days. The only problem with this one is the memory storage- it’s either 32 gb or 256 gb, there’s no middle ground which sucks because with the 32 gb, half of it is taken up with system data so the only option is to pay for the cloud service- which doesn’t work well if you’re not connected to internet or with apps. They do this because otherwise everyone would buy one that’s like 100 gb which would be perfect. I think it’s crap. Which is a shame because otherwise the iPad is perfect.
