Absolutely love my new iPad. Super fast and lightweight. Beautiful display and all the storage I’ll need for a long time. All around great product at a great price.

This is an excellent entry-level iPad. While I personally prefer the Pro because of design, power, and magnetic compatibility with the Apple Pencil 2 (amongst other benefits including Magic Keyboard compatibility), the iPad 8th generation is perfect for my niece’s needs. My niece is able to accomplish any task needed for personal use and for school without any issues with power. This iPad has a great battery life that easily lasts through the day with eight or so hours dedicated to school work. She multitasks with ease and is able to use iWork programs, the Google suit, Google Classroom, Adobe programs, and other necessary apps to complete her daily tasks. No program has proven to be too power intensive that it slow the iPad and she has had zero lag in performance while multitasking. The Apple Pencil works flawlessly with this iPad and, refresh rate in mind, still doesn’t appear to have lag with pencil strokes. This iPad has proven to be the perfect tool for the job. My niece is much more fluid in using an iPad compared to a traditional computer. With education having more and more work from home days this year, this iPad has become invaluable in her ability to keep up with and complete her school work. I highly recommend this iPad. It has support for keyboards such as the Logitech Combo, which is durable and protective and seamless due to the ability to work with the smart connector as the Magic Keyboard does. It has compatibility with the Apple Pencil, which comes in handy in many situations, but especially for note taking. No task, even multitask, has been able to slow this device. The price you pay for this iPad and the power and compatibility you get is hard to beat. Even though you may be getting an old design, that design is quite useful in today’s mask-wearing world with the ability to use Touch ID. We are very happy with this purchase.

I absolutely love it. I’m on it all the time, especially when I’m watching movies or playing games. It saves me on my electric bill as well too.

This is the first IPad that I have owned, and I love it. This makes reading books that have diagrams perfect. I also purchased a stylus pen to use with Apple Notes, and it has come in handy writing for examples things to do. I also use it to store my recipes, so when I am cooking I can just scroll through the recipe. Even if you have an IPhone, the IPad is nice to have with the bigger screen. I also plan on using the IPad with spin bike apps. So overall this device has many functions that I will use. Very happy with my purchase!!

This is a really good iPad that works really great for surfing the internet. I am using it for watching streaming applications. My son also uses it to watch a cartoon on youtube. It is really good that also have the option to restrict some of the websites. It has a slick design with high performance. It also has a good battery life and it comes with a power adapter that also charges the iPad faster. However, the camera is not as good as a professional. It has a higher wifi connection and good quality of the front camera.

I love my iPad. 10+ years after the iPad first came out I finally caved and bought my first one thanks to a black friday deal. I never really understood the point of iPads previously since I had an iPhone and a Macbook, what would I need an iPad for outside of just to load more shows/movies onto for a long flight to not exhaust my other devices' batteries? The main reason I actually bought this was because my firm's mobile apps required you to have a passcode on the mobile device and it is just SO annoying to have a passcode on my iPhone. However, now I love using my iPad now on a daily basis - to post up my recipes when cooking or watch shows in the bathroom while I am getting ready. Of course as well to check my work emails and not need to boot up my work computer at home. I will say there are some things I do not enjoy doing on my ipad - like typing. I will literally switch to the app on my phone if I need to type long messages out - BUT that is my fault for not buying a connecting keyboard. Taking pics on this iPad is also not good. I notice a HUGE difference in the quality of photos I take on my iPad vs my iPhone 11 Pro. This device's camera is NOT good compared to the latest iPhones, but I am not typically out and about trying to take pics with my iPad. Battery life is great! I also appreciate the auxiliary hole for regular headphones - again this is good for travelling. When you are travelling internationally on multiple flights with layovers, anyway to worry less about yet another device (airpods) to maintain charged is great. I like to use my airpods walking through the airport, but once I am settled into my airplane throne to cross the ocean, the old wired headphones work just fine and won't die midway through binging a series! For just a super casual user who wants this to just get on their favorite streaming apps or check emails, I don't think there is any reason to buy the higher end iPad models.

Great all around; nice size, lightweight, keeps a charge for hours, very intuitive. A nice updraft from the old IPad I had.

I bought this for my mother and she loves it so much. She keeps her iPhone font size on the maximum setting so I knew this size of iPad would be big enough for visual enjoyment, but not too big for her aged hands that lack much strength these days. I wanted to get her something nice as she deserves it and I couldnt stand watching her trying to do everything with her small iPhone, so I knew I had to get her something bigger and better. The new iPadOS runs smoothly on this base model. This is perfect for anyone who wants a convenient, portable mini computer to research, type up documents, engage in social media, watch movies, listen to music, read, and play games! I was surprised to see that this still utilizes the fingerprint scanner, but I know a lot of people love having that integrated still and my mother has not complained. She was amazed by the technology of this device even in just the setup process. This would be a wonderful gift for any student or creative mind.

Fast, easy to use, updated IOS Crazy amount of exclusive apps. Want even more? Pair with the Apple Pencil (1st gen) and prepare to be mindblown. Best part? All these amazing specs and more cheaper than any comparable laptop/tablet. Also connects with several keyboards for an amazing work/student experience. I purchased the Logitech Folio Touchpad/Keyboard from Best Buy and it connects with ease and also gives amazing all around protection for your iPad.

This is my second iPad in the last five years and is definitely a better value. For less than $500 with accessories, the screen size and fast processing are a great deal. I used iPad pro previous generation prior to this for twice the price but can get everything done with this new one for less than half the price. For most part, the features have been true to Apple’s description in terms of battery life, multi tasking, display quality etc.

Apple 10.2 Inch iPad Great iPad , Just the right size I use this for work Numbers, Excel, Dropbox, and others and personal use/streaming and it's perfect. The battery life on these things is insane compared to other apple products like their phones, and the screen is nice and bright too. Its not too heavy, looks visually appealing, and as with all apple products its just an absolute powerhouse of hardware .

The iPad is still the best tablet on the market for the price, even for an iPad with the features at this price, you can beat it but you cannot defeat it. The new processor is really worth the price. It’s about 2x as fast on all the tests. Definitely worth an upgrade for this new generation if you have a 5th or 6th version. The size for a 10.2 is nearly twice the size of a mini while the weight is not heavy.

Got the iPad 10.2 inch 8th Gen wifi with 128gb on sale and for my 1st iPad. It was snappy, Display was a lot better then i expected from a entry level iPad, speakers sounded good, camera was ok for basic doc scanning and around the house things or face time. esay to hold and no fear of sliping out yoour hand but it does slide off fabrics VERY easy so Get a case if not for protecon then to stand it up and watch moves. Now the lower end side of it.... The Screen or the Gen 1 PENCIL. you can get buy with the logitech crayon but your just going be disappointed with a less capable PIN for $20 less. the apple Pencil gen 1 has a pressure sensitive tip that is nice but gen 1 has NO TAP TO SWITCH and the Tapping on the screen OMG. but for the price its a VERY GOOD BUY and so is the Gen 1 Pencil. PS Get a case with a track Pad

I bought this 8th Generation IPad to replace my 2nd Generation IPad purchased many years ago. The new version is terrific! It is light, fast and has all the features one might need in a tablet. The 128GB storage is ample and the graphics are spectacular. I bought this at Best Buy where it was being sold pre-Christmas at a $50.00 discount. It was delivered almost a week before the scheduled date.

The tablet is fast and reliable. Pubg plays great on this device. I ended up purchasing the iPad 8th generation because of apples reliable products and feel very satisfied with this product. Last week I purchase a Chinese tablet for under $100 and was a worthless tablet. I returned that one and purchase this one. If you are thinking of buying an affordable tablet then go with the iPad because it is affordable and very powerful for its price.

Apple's new iPad (8th Gen) is definitely of great value for the $ you pay. I bought this model as a gift for my talented young niece. She enjoys pairing her Apple Pencil to it and just coloring or drawing. Battery life per charge is great. Quality of screen, gorgeous! Apple's IOS is so intuitive that it takes you just a couple of hours to get familiar with it. Great device.

This is my second I Pad and I like it even better than the first. The speed is great - great storage - easy to use camera. The larger screen size makes viewing everything more enjoyable. Since this was relatively new to the marketplace, the price through Best Buy was very good. I was also able to get a great cover at the same time making shopping through the internet very simple.
