This is the first iPad I’ve ever own, and I can definitely say its capable of a lot. Paired with an Apple Pencil (1st gen) and and apple keyboard Smart Cover makes it the best way to do most everything you’d find yourself needing to do throughout the day! Although I own an iPhone and MacBook, i find myself mainly using this IPad for everything I’d use my iPhone and MacBook for while at home, including texting, browsing entertainment, and now drawing. Learning the keyboard shortcuts for switching apps and navigating safari has also greatly enhanced the already great experience the stand-alone IPad had given me. Multitasking is amazing! Overall would recommend this model. Especially for someone new to IPad or someone who doesn’t need the IPad Pro for some serious work

I LOVE this iPad. It does everything I was hoping it would do. I have my emails and texts right at my fingertips on a big screen. Additionally I can easily access websites and view items on a very readable screen right in my lap! The iPad is fast. Photos are beautiful. This is what I was looking for in a tablet!

My 5 yr old iPad died. Thought I'd lost all my info, pics, games.... Turned on my new one and did this and that (very easy)....EVERYTHING saved to my new iPad!!! Whoever thought of doing that needs a really BIG raise!!! Everything runs smooth as can be. Didn't even want one at first...now can't imagine not having one. Great!!!

This is the perfect budget iPad. It is fast enough for any task and has smooth application functions. My only reservation when purchasing was the 32GB of storage, not certain if it would be enough. So far I have not run into any issues, but if you are planning to have a lot on your iPad, I suggest going with a high gig option.

Bought this iPad as ThanksGiving promotion. It was $70 down from base price. Even though the basic iPad does not have the latest and greatest hardware as iPad Air or Pro, it is good enough for everyday use like Streaming, browsing and games. This replaced my 2014 iPad, so feels a lot slick and faster compared to that. I love it!!!

Love the new ipad. Got one for myself and my girlfriend and she wont put it down! I was worried that it would be slow because it is not the ipad pro model but this thing works like a charm. Bought a case and keyboard to go with it and now i have a great little mobile workstation. Happy with purchase for sure. From a real person :)

Worth every penny. After spending who knows how much money on crappy Android samsung and fire tablets, we finally decided to spend a bit more and get our kids ipads. These things run smooth. Even though you can't expand the storage, we still have more storage than the old Android tablets because it isn't loaded up with bloatware.

Great size, use of use, came quickly and love the color

I like this iPad better than the previous versions, it came with 10.2 inch. Not bad for the price you paid. I love the performance of this iPad along with the battery life. The battery lasts more than 10 hours if you watch continuously.

The size is a little bit longer and a little heavier than I thought. What I like is its bright and colorful display as a result of increased LCD’s resolution. It handles rigorous apps, high-end 3D games and light video editing. Most of of all, it is modestly priced and perfect for my basic needs of a tablet.

Noticeable difference in the display! I always thought that upgrading your iPads was a fluke or a gimmick but this time around this iPad has taken the cake the screen quality is incredible it’s very light is also thin and every day like there’s a little bit bigger I’m coming from two generations ago so it’s a good leap for me .

Bought this for my dad, and he loves it! He liked the easy set-up and for somethings like contacts and photos all he had to do was set his iphone next to the ipad and it was done. The screen is large enough to read easily, but not bulky to carry around. And the price was right. Very pleased with this purchase

Great 8th gen 32 gig iPad. Boots up quicker then my iPhone Mac. Performance wise I can see a difference between 5th gen that I traded in towards... My only regret is I wish I had gone with more memory but there were none available in space gray n I wanted upgrade NOW... Overall I am very pleased with my new iPad...

The battery life is good and it's very fast. The only con that i see is that it has only 32 GB. if you are not going to install lot of games and store photos then i highly recommend this.

This is honestly the best thing I have ever bought. I needed it to do my homework for college and we are fully remote. I am able to view my lessons with ease and do my math homework and show my work. I don’t regret it at all and I am so happy I got this. It’s also very light so I can carry it around with me everywhere.

I’m a huge Apple product fan. So this was a easy buy for me. iPad works great, pictures are clear, syncs with all my other devices. Battery stays charged longer. Plus the price is great. They also give you free Apple Music for a few months. I would definitely recommend this item, for a person of any age

I haven’t had an iPad since the one I purchased when they first came out for the first time. Not because I didn’t like them but because I just didn’t see a need for a device like this until now. I am a school teacher and with the Vistula learning this is one of the best tools out there now. This has become my go to device for everything virtual in my classes. The main reason why i chose this device is the amount of features this device have. It is very powerful device and the built quality is the best I have seen. If you are invested in the apple ecosystem, this is the device for you. One of the best features is the Gen 2 pen. I use it when doing lessons presentations, or to edit and sign documents required in my line of work.

Wow. I mean, wow. I've owned two iPads prior to this one: replaced my original 5th gen with a 6th gen (to get support for Apple Pencil), and now replacing my 6th gen with this 8th gen. My 6th gen iPad just seemed too slow at loading web pages. It was incredibly irritating to see a web page while it was in the process of being rendered, with links jumping up and down the page. Every time I tried to click on a link, it would jump away to make room for a photo or a block of text or some other object, and I'd end up clicking a different link that I didn't want to visit. I'd then have to click the Back button and wait for the page to load again, but this time I'd force myself to be patient. Very annoying. Those days are over. This 8th gen iPad loads those same web pages much faster. For example, cnet.com would take around 10 seconds to load on my 6th gen iPad. Now it takes about two or three seconds. I can easily wait two or three seconds for a web page to load. Overall, the 8th gen iPad is much more responsive than its predecessors. The A12 processor is a significant improvement over the 6th gen's A10 processor.
