    My Son's Christmas Present

Thanks for your help , your staff is always so helpful and knowledgeable about everything your Store offers. This IPAD I purchased was for my Son who is in his first year of College, after serving 5 years in the United States Navy. He mentioned to me how hard it was for him to keep up with the instructors taking notes etc. I went to Best buy and talked with one of your young Salesmen there, told him my son's problem with keeping up with the lecturer. The young man directed me to this Apple iPad 10.2inch and told me this would solve my son's problem. I trusted his judgement as I have trusted your sales people's advice in the past. My son was elated he told me how it made things so much easier for him . The young man also suggested an Electronic Pen that he said would be a nice adjunct to my purchase. So that took care of my Christmas purchase for my Son. Thank You, again for your fine People Best Buy! Frank Thomas , Redding California

Solid iPad for the kids. The new screen even though laminated is pretty good snd the processor is fat enough on this unit. Only issue is if you play large games it might be challenging with space because sometimes iOS use 5-10 gg of storage for cache and temp.

Picked this up for kids X-mas Gift. Last ipad i used was the Original Air. Beside for the yearly Processor Upgrade. this version has a slightly bigger screen. Better battery life compare to all 2020 ipads models, Yet being the Cheapest Model. Perfect for what i needed.

This ipad works great except.....32gb is NOT enough memory. I keep having to delete all my apps to update it and getting photos off is no easy task. I am now on the hunt for an ipad with lots more memory.

When my sons original ipad would no longer take updates (he got the hand me down from us) it was really hurting for speed and even loading some apps. We bought him a new generation and it has been great. Much faster and now all the apps work and updates are applied.

Faster than previous generations, better screen resolution and quality, and also bigger than my previous iPad gen 5. Front facing camer for FaceTime is nice, but other than those improvements there’s nothing new about the iPad 8th generation. If you’re just looking at a new iPad just to get a new one, don’t. Wait until your tablet has absolutely given all it’s got left before getting a new one. These iPads are all the same with few differences, which is great if you’re an Apple fan looking for that carryover between devices. But for utility purposes just stick to your old iPad I promise they’re the same thing.

Fantastic product, fast, beautiful display, really light weight. Cons wondering if 32g is enough memory— but TONS of pre installed app features hogged too much memory— deleted most of the pre installed junk - don’t intend to store photo library, 32g should be ok

We could not be happier with this iPad. It replaced a 10 year+ one. It is light weight, super fast and the screen is a nice size. Honestly, for us, buying a larger screen for a whole lot more did not make sense. We made the right decision with this one.

Got this as a birthday gift for my mom to replace her old one. The display looks great and it's simple enough to use. I was able to transfer everything from her old one just fine and it runs great!

The iPad 8th Gen is a great leap over the 7th. I’ve owned both and the two big differences are in performance and battery life. While the 7th runs an ancient A10, the 8th runs a 2 years newer A12 and the difference is noticeable. I’d much rather have the A12, it’s butter smooth for the tasks an average user will ask of it. If you’re looking for professional grade, you still need to buy the Air or, more likely, the Pro models. Battery didn’t change a ton, but from bigger reviewers, they said it gains an hour over the 7th gen. On top of that, with the better processor, you can get more done when you do need to be productive with those limited hours. It’s a win win at the same price. If you’ve got a 7th, I’d stick with it. Earlier than that? I’d consider the upgrade.

A12 Bionic chip with 64-bit architecture, Neural Engine. The iPad is still the best tablet on the market for the price. If you want better features quit being cheap and buy the higher priced models. You can only put so much into a $329 tablet. It already has an amazing screen, chip, gpu. What else do you expect? This iPad will work for 90% of everyone that doesn’t have a laptop. I just got mine and I prefer the Touch ID. The new processor really shows. It’s about 2x as fast on all the tests. You might not need to upgrade if you have the 7th gen though. If you have an older model and want to upgrade, I say do it.

This was a trade up from the older 6th generation. I like the wider screen of the new one. Everything was so easy to transfer to the new ipad, because it's in the cloud. Everything is smooth sailing. Would buy again
