Apple told us it was considered a “classic” and they no longer support them. So our only option was to buy a new iPad. This one was sufficient for my wife’s use

I'm still figuring out the differences between old and new. Getting the protective case on (Otter Box) was a bigger challenge, but with the help of a couple of employees, we got it done.

I decided that the Apple iPad (9th Generation) was a better fit for my use. Unless you are a "gamer" or have a need for the "latest and greatest" this iPad is a powerful and more reasonably priced option. The camera is fantastic. The thumb print ID makes it very secure. And it will satisfy all but the most demanding with years of super service. This was a long term decision for me, as it replaces an 8 year old iPad.

I was most appreciative of the BB salesperson, who asked carefully how I would use the product, and matched my needs to this device. It isn’t the most expensive or highest performing in the line, but it works great for what I need. Thanks!

As always, you get what you pay for with Apple. A great product that just works, but also a lack of expandability and no way to move forward (other than software) in the future.

Best Buy had a promotional price on this cellular model. Easy to setup and use. Purchased using online ordering and easy fast pickup in local store.
