Traded in my 7th gen for this 9th gen since I couldn't get the old one transferred from ATT to another carrier. The ipad was locked to ATT and no matter what we tried - spent hours on phone with ATT, new carrier and even Apple - to get it transferred. Finally gave up due to the aggravation factor. Was still able to use on wifi, but no celluar data. Now, I will only buy unlocked devices

Easy to have the service transfer from the old iPad to the new old as well. Good battery life than the old iPad and better visualization.

This iPad was amazingly easy to set up and connect. I anticipated going to my local carrier for assistance in setting up, but I did it all myself in just a few easy clicks. Everything transferred and I was all set to start using it. Though it was not in stock at the local store, it was ordered by store personnel and arrived at the appointed time.

Nice size, easy to use. I bought it mostly to watch movies while i travel. But there is so much more that can be done with it. The best of it is the battery life.
