Realized my iPad Air 2 from 2014 was 5 years old. Three things about the new iPad Air as a replacement: 1. Wicked fast. 2. It is almost imperceptibly larger than my 9.7” iPad Air, but between that and the smaller bezels, the 10.5” screen is noticeably larger. 3. I also bought a new 9.7” iPad, but found it to be notably thicker than my old iPad Air 2. Definitely prefer the thinness of this device. This is a great upgrade for anyone who had been spoiled by prior versions of the iPad Air.

Love the iPad Air. It is so easy to use as an iPhone user that it really doesn’t require a big learning curve. It takes great pictures and I like the size. Lots of storage! What more can you ask for!

This is my 3rd iPAD and they just keep improving. It dominates in resolution and image quality as well as ease of use and flexibility. Multi-tasking is a breeze. Battery life just keeps getting longer. Made sure to buy a model with 256GB to future proof as much as possible. My last iPAD was only 16GB and over 5 years old. At this point, the OS has grown so large that you need to begin deleting Apps to allow for sufficient storage. The images and sound are about as good as it gets for a tablet with the possible exception of the iPAD PRO.

I went from an old 16 g iPad mini to this 256 g iPad Air with the latest greatest chip. Not even a fair comparison. Speed Speed Speed. As they say, there is no substitute. As fast as your fingers can, this iPad can do faster. Be careful what you accidentally touch on this screen because your there before you even realized you touched something. Great camera an sound too! All this with the quality and reliability you expect from Apple.

I honestly think this is the best iPad to buy for most people. It was all the power, keyboard and pen support. Also it's very light and thin. Unless you really need some of the features of the Pro models I would recommend you save some money and get this one. Also I think is a nice upgrade over the basic models, has a better processor so it will last longer. I'm quite happy with this purchase and If you need a new iPad this is the one I would recommend.

One of our staple iPad Air units for the house we realized would not run a few key apps and after taking a look at the model we realized it was from 2013 and no longer eligible for IOS updates (it stopped at IOS 12), so off to Best Buy we went (well the website) to select a new iPad Air and select local pickup. The newer models are much lighter, faster, better screen and 16x the storage of our older model for less than we paid originally. As expected, everything now opens and runs amazingly fast and it is top notch as expected. The classically large front touch ID button (aka "the chin") is apparently going the way of the dodo, but my daughter still wanted the classic build, so this covered all the bases which was a plus. They're happy so I'm happy.

I love it - bigger screen, faster processing, more memory, and lighterweight than my previous ipad.

Bought this as a gift! Just as expected the set up was as easy as you would expect! It synced with his iPhone 11 perfectly! Looked at lots of the options when buying and decided for the options and price , this was the best choice! I don’t regret it! I expect this iPad to last a long while. This replaced the original 1st iPad. It is so light weight, I think it is lighter than my iPhone 11!

I have not bought a new tablet type device in 9 years. I needed one for travel and I am not a fan of android due to the many issues related to app security. I know android does a lot but it has such a large attack surface for malicious apps and code. Apple has never disappointed me and my last table (iPad 2) lasted so long. I eventually did not need it for a long time and started travelling again. Apple products are just so easy to use and can do anything I need while offering a high level of security. It is much less likely that an Apple product will get a virus and the security updates are constant. Android does not release updates very often. Seeing how long my first iPad lasted it was a no brainer to get a new one. I would recommend the 256GB over the 64GB just because it offers a lot of room. If you do a lot of web and documents as well as some documents and movies opt for the 256. If you are a heavy user for work, movies and music I would recommend the 512GB. As far as ease of use and setup it does not get any easier.

I bought one on sale for my wife who was bugging me to get her one. I've been out of the tablet market for a while ever since I bought three Microsoft Surface RT tablets back in October 2012 for my kids. All three are still going and receiving updates from Microsoft. My wife said it was her turn and so I bought her this one under the condition I would use it as well. She hasn't been off the tablet since, watching Apple TV and browsing the web. It's light with a big screen and plenty of space (something I hated with the 32GB Surface RTs). My kids are now bugging her to use it. This tablet should last you a long time, just don't forget to buy a protective case. That's the reason my kid's Surface RTs are still working today.

I'm and admitted Apple geek, with an iMac, iPhone and Apple TV, so an iPad was a MUST addition to the family! While higher priced than the newest iPad introduced this past fall, the bigger display, faster chip and more storage are worth the difference in cost. If you own an iPhone, setup is a piece of cake! Love it--especially for reading books and recipes!

Purchased this for my wife for mother's day and she loves it. Upgraded from the 32gb to the new iPad Air with retina display. The vivid color and clear screen is great and the speed is so much better. The ease of setup and the auto connectivity to other apple products for quick sync is superior.

Love my new iPad Air. I previously had a mini iPad, and this is so much better. I was able to get 256GB for $50 because of a Best Buy promotion. IPad was not in stock at the local store but it was shipped immediately: ordered on Sunday and received on Tuesday. The iPad is easy to use and has touch-screen capabilities.

I was in need of updating my tablet and I’m so glad that I chose this iPad Air version! Ease of use is great with Apple products but the increased speed, graphics, and colors over my old one is a huge improvement. I love the ability to carry more movies and music with me due to the larger hard drive/storage! I highly recommend it

super light weight, easy to set-up (already have apple account) from existing iPhone, and nothing to complain. Have not had a chance to completely drain the battery but it went three days with moderate use and still showed 32% battery remaining. Super fast with no transition lag what so ever. Love it!

Great speed. Great color. Longer lasting battery. I use it to watch Apple TV programs baseball, Netflix, Prime Video and Spectrum TV. Easy to use. It also charges quickly. Apple needs to allow more apps for better programming. The speaker system sound is not bad. Overall it is a great tablet to own.

Compared to my old iPad, from 7 years ago, this is as different as night to day. The size is better (10.5"), the image and photos are so much shaper. The weight is lighter and everything loads a lot quicker. I would highly recommend this iPad to anyone thinking about upgrading their old iPad.
